Does anyone here read Bukowski? I'm reading his "Notes of a Dirty Old Man" and he's very quickly become one of my favorite authors. The amount of sheer heart and willpower that he puts in his writing is sort of crazy, or at least, to me it is. There's something about how utterly personal, and grimy, I guess is the best word for it, his writing is that just sets off a tick in my head that says "This is great." What are your recommendations for his works for me to read next, or anything else that's similar to it even? Why do you like Bukowski?

Never heard of him, does he make a fiction sort of genre or thriller? I can recall a couple passages from Love is a Dog From Hell, but I'm not sure if we are talking about the same Bukowski. Anyways if you haven't read the novel I mentioned above then I think you should it was a great read.
