There's a really awesome 4GB patcher by NTCore here that you can use to patch your Fallout3.exe or FalloutNV.exe files and allowing them to use 4GB of RAM instead of 2GB of RAM. This is perfect if you plan on using any high-res texture packs or increased spawns mods. I've been using it for a long time now, and it greatly reduces the amount of crashes I've had both with Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. Here's a link to the page where you can download it, the program is really easy to use too. Just select your Fallout3.exe or FalloutNV.exe programs, and patch them. You only have to do it once too! Super convenient!

https://ntcore.com/?page_id=371 I know about the 4 gb patcher I use if myself but what I meant was if textures won’t load and that kind of stuff because someone on YouTube said that he doesn’t recommend to use the super pack for nmcs because his game broke with audio and texture issues I still appreciate your post mate<3 |

| @ KukBuddy You already use the patcher? Very good! You are well prepared. I misinterpreted your post, and thought you where worried that high-res texture packs would break your game due to the increased memory usage. So my bad there. But I'm glad to see you appreciate my post! Anyways, you ought to read through the comments on the Nexus for both mods, and see if anyone else is experiencing the same problem that this YouTuber is having. It might just be isolated to his setup. It never hurts to do your homework when considering new mods. Good luck! |

| I believe New Vegas can handle both NMC's and Ojo Bueno textures as long as you have the 4GB patch which you've already stated you have.
The main problem you'll be facing is whether or not you'll have an ENB which drastically effects performance. If you do go for an ENB, it's advised you go for one texture pack. Since I use the 47 the Sequel, I just use Ojo Bueno. But I also use MGs Neat clutter pack since it's far smaller compared to NMC's. You won't be missing much with not having both two massive texture packs in your game, MGs is an excellent retexture pack as a substitute. |

| @"KukBuddy" Most likely is wasn't the texture mod that broke his game but running it in conjunction with other mods that use allot of memory. _________________ |

| Not really break your game instantly, but it is gonna be very taxing for the game because of course NMC and OJO Bueno wouldn't be the only mods you'll be using soon. The 9 year old game could really only handle so much even with the 4gb patcher. Printerkop himself said that in the nexus way back when and that guy is one trusted modder. |

| @ KukBuddy Hey I don't know if this will help you regarding your question about these texture packs breaking your game. But I just remembered an experience I had while playing Skyrim that is related to what that YouTuber was mentioning in his videos. I had just applied the memory patch to Skyrim via SKSE, and I had bumped up ASIS to the max (an increased spawns mod), and I actually started to have the same problem with textures not loading in the game. I was fighting a whole army of bandits, and one of them literally had no textures loaded on them. Not on their bodies, their weapons, or their armor. So I guess if you really do start to push your game with memory intensive content, it'll eventually start to malfunction. However, what I was doing was pushing the game to extreme, and was not intended to be normal game play. I'm sure that if you play high-res textures packs, and increased spawns, without setting increased spawns to unrealistic amounts, I'm sure everything will be fine. Hopefully this information will be useful to you! |

| As njmanga097 say, game is old. Even high end machine cannot help if you use a lot of resource draining mods. Compare to resource in new machines and games 4gb is just ..tiny.
Fun part is - sometimes u do not really need HD packs, to make game look nice. Most of the time 4k looks no different that 2k. As for example a person on Nexus made 2 nice packs - terrain and weather. Both looks better than all made so far, and......both are not HD. 2k max and not for all tings.
While it may be boring - personally i think u just have to try. Yes it will take time, and yes u may have to reinstall game 1-2 times, but there is not universal mod list for that. Most of the time u have to sacrifice one to get another to work.
Sad to say, but from what i saw/read so far - High resolution, HD pack, increase spawn/presence mods + ENB is just recipe for memory crash. But, still that's only my point and i may be deeply wrong:))) _________________ - We are here!:

| @"KukBuddy"with a decent rig and some optimization you should at the least be able to pack about 70 mods without seeing a drop in performance. If you are going to use nmc's texture pack you can use pre generated lod to reduce some of the strain that occurs on heavily modded games when loading new areas, as well as the 4 gig patcher in conjunction with the new micro stutter remover makes for a solid experience even with 100+ mods. _________________ |

| I think the bigger hit to performance comes from ENB's rather than texture packs. I haven't really noticed serious drops while having HD textures, but I don't always stack them together...I really should enable Ojo Bueno...But I'm worried it'll try to override some of the overhauls I got from here. |

| New Vegas tends to be pretty unpredictable, I'd say it should be fine but it doesn't hurt to throw in some stability and anti-crash mods to help keep it stable. The Engine tends to do what it wants from what I've seen, although I don't know too much about modding, it doesn't hurt to install the stability mods anyway ^^' |
