| Doesn't matter if it's in the vanilla game or if it's entirely a mod (or a vanilla location that you changed with mods), I just wanna hear where all you gunners' favorite base is in the game. Feel free to include multiples of you like to have several bases :-)
To answer my own topic I always camp the hotel room in Novac (after relieving Jeanie of her head of course) because of its close proximity to Novac's fast travel point. I know the room is pretty small, but I still laid weapons and items all over the dang place and made it sparkle :-D |

| Novac hotel is probably the most utilised player home, vanilla or not. There is a lot of overhaul mods for the Novac hotel for that reason.
I personally used all my companions to take over the prison, and use that as my main base of operations. Other than that, the Courier's Cache gives you an amazing wasteland survivor home north of Freeside, and that's been a long time favourite of mine since the frist time I tried it. Other than that I just use the bedroll if I get caught in the desert and I don't want to walk around in the pitch black _________________ "We're not tools of the government, or anyone else. | It's the Lucky 38.
The companions can go there, it's the main base of operations when doing the independence route, snowglobes are displayed there, it's large enough to store everything I carry and display unique items found about in the Mojave like the music sheet from Black Mountain. |

| I usually share my room with Willow Companion at her room at Novac. I role play that Willow is my girlfriend and shack up with her at her place. Wish there was a marriage system like in Skyrim then she could be my wife LOL _________________ |

| I always create a home base in Novac especially if I am doing one of those no fast travel games. It is a very convenient location to dump items, has access to a lot of benches and the trip to most locations is fast since it is located smack in the middle of the map. _________________ Will there be enough Dakka? |

| Bedroll in the desert. Way out there with the scorpions and nightstalkers. I use a barrel cactus as a pillow. _________________ swiggitty swooty I'm coming for that booty -George Washington |

| Vault-HQ1 in Goodsprings. If I can't make it home before nightfall, I find a (hopefully) safe spot and bust out the bedroll. _________________ |

| It hasn't been updated since 2012, but it's hard for me to play the game without this mod.
Baja Island Player Home
Feels like you're playing a different game when you enter lol. |

| depends on what my mod loadout and play style and head cannon is right now with my current mod loadout https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/58197 Courier 6 Zion Safehouse (Honest Hearts) since ive been playing a more hunter-style play style if im playing through someguy2000s mods i usually just use a house from The Couriers Cache https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49531 or Lombard station but I can't find that mod anywhere so i cant post a link sorry if im going for a straight ncr run i use https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61591 the ncr safe house facelift if im going for a sciencey build https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/56162 Elianora's Awesomised Sink (OWB) seems to be my default the kicker is i have to complete the dlc to use that home as a base of operartions in that mod load out

| @ Original Post. Ooooohhhh, that's a good one! Well, I'll be honest with you, I love having any home that is portable, even it's unrealistic or tardis like. I don't believe in carrying capacity, so I use Fee510's portable tent mod. Which is super functional and convenient. There are some other mods that I'd like to try but haven't, like the mobile truck base. But when it comes to a home base, nothing beats the after school special by Mike Hancho. The idea that you repaired and refurbished an old school house into your own home is something that makes it very special. It's pretty much the house that you built. |

| I got the Rancho Villa player home just outside of Goodsprings, but I really can't say I use any player home that much. |
