hey there Ive been trying to convert some stuff to cbbe with outfitstudio and everything looks good when i pull it up in bodyslide. but when i try it in game it looks all wonky like theres a weird second deformed body below my character and my characters not wearing the clothes. also when i pull it up in outfitstudio the clothes are above the body idk if that has anything to do with it. ive made sure the bone weights are there and i conform the sliders than make sure to edit sliders so no body is showing. help me please what am i doing wrong?

yeah it is. Militarized minutemen. Ive been pouring through all these tutorials online and none of them are helping

@"drinkykrow" okay so heres what you need to do, on nexus theres a cbbe patch for bodyslide install it and return to bodyslide. bodyslide does goofy stuff like that when manually patching armors. you also need to include the armor slide under the body preset youre using, i personally refit the armors every time just so one doesnt look less/more defined.

how do i find this patch?

@"drinkykrow" dont mind me i was tired when i wrote that, but. what you need to do is first load your body preset then build your armors around that mold.

Actually what you're running into here is corrected in a way unique to Outfit Studio/body slide in FO4. Here is the solution -

The real key to this; is making sure after you do the fitting/weighting of the outfit, that you move the outfit back to where it was above the body - then save. It soesn't seem to make sense, but it will show up in game correctly.

You both are welcome to knowledge that was shared with me after I managed to drive myself nuts over what seemed so simple. You should have seen the morphed in game monstrosities I created!! I have actually thought of posting a video here in the tutorial section for this common problem in FO4....I'll just put it for now on my long list of things to do when work let's me. Glad it helped.
