| It seems that no matter how much I want these two to weight in geck, the are weightless when I start the game
Now, I do not play on survival, so I assume that there is a script to make them weightless if you're not playing on survival, and add weight if you do. How can I change this? _________________ http://z0r.de/?id=293

| They don't weigh anything regardless of the chosen mode.
All you have to do is fire up xEdit, search for the Stimpak entry under Ingestibles in the FalloutNV.esm, right click that and chose "copy as override (with overwriting) into...", select a new esp, give it a name. Now look for the Stimpak DATA entry in the new esp and change it to whatever you want it to weigh. The same is true for the Repair Kit.
Close xEdit, enable the esp and make sure to load it last to ensure it always wins any potential conflicts. You're good to go now.
However, if you play with a mod like JSawyer this requires more work since you'll have to find the script(s) that mod uses to calculate/change the weight of items and change/recompile that.

| @Sensenmann I'm talking about Fallout 4, not fallout NV. No matter what amount of weight I choose for them, they show up as zero in game, unless game is set to survival difficulty mode. It wasn't that way before the cancerous update that added in, btw. I contacted some other people who knew better than me, it seems that this script is hardcoded into the game, and you cannot modify it without the help of F4SE, even tho it is just a single toggle that could have easily been implemented into the GECK. Not like it matters, I chose to work around it by making sure that I depend on my stimpacks as my main source of health, and adding weight to chems, and adding extra effects to otherwise useless food items _________________ http://z0r.de/?id=293

| Oh, FO4. Apologies, I somehow assumed this was about FNV. Just did a quick check and it's indeed not possible to change the weight with xEdit. How odd, I seem to remember that this was possible at some point. Sorry, no idea. |
