After so many years of modding, what you still not see in game?

That's me:
1. Dual pistols - yes yes, i read, that this cannot be done - just mention.
2. Conquest - i saw several mods, but none of them is really working. It's strange not to have - all game you actually collect resource, money, ppl and build reputation. And, at the end, u just  trow all that efforts away, giving power to others.
3. A simple bow. I hear some1 was trying to do that back then, but nothing is made.
4. Tons of nice homes are made, BUT - no home marker. I mean, why to install anything,except Lucky mods, since u cannot send your companions there?
5. Real rest for companions. There is one mod:
Wendy Gilbert.
Interesting part in it is this - she can change clothes, when rest and dismiss.And, interesting system for skills/lvl up. Always wonder, why no1 else use this?

@d_ahat theres a bow but more like bow rifles like on half life

for me we need more worldspaces finished no WIP onlys

One other thing we don’t have yet, a mod that gives us ranger armor without any sort of coat or trench coat over it. I’d love to see a mod that just gives us the plate vest from the ranger armor that’s actually high quality

@erafox I think that solid project is RIP.

I think it is still missing a definitive upgrade to the Nellis AFB ruins. It doesn't have a real military base feel to it and feels awkward with no fighter ruins lying around.

i know at least two modders who made a dual pistol firing mod both for 3rd and first persons but they got never released because of hostile behavior by some idiots.

After all these years, there is still no proper mod that lets you side with the enclave and/or the raiders

I am aware there are some new california-tier cringy mods for NV, but I am talking about F3/TTW, a mod that lets you side with the enclave in the main game. There is also no proper enclave soldier companions, which makes me sad(Altho I did find a mod that, humorously, lets the enclave officer that interrogates you when you leave your cell in raven rock escape and become your companion, after you finish that quest).

Same goes for any content regarding raiders, there are mods that let them become non-hostile to you, but there is no proper mod that expands on them, and lets you work with them, a la nuka world. Same goes for raider companions, closest I got was turning one of the whores you find in a cell in evergreen mills into a companion

Now that I think about it, I don't think we got anything relating to the talon merc either, they're an interesting faction, or at least could be if bethesda was capable of writing something more than "bad guys" two dimensional mook enemy factions like we've seen with gunners.

Last, but not least, I don't think we got any institute content. Only thing that exists, that I am aware of, is that ancient mod that was made for fallout 3, before anything official came out of F4, so that mod is hopelessly outdated, altho I will not speak of it's quality, as I have never played it. I think we need less armor and weapon mods, and more mods that actually add content into the game, there is potential within existing assets and factions that is just waiting to be discovered

@Sonichu_fanboy Yea, that's 1 i mention. Own faction, other factions, different ends. While i do not have idea what raiders can offer in this story, Enclave will be a good hit. After all, it's battle for control. It's who will rule Vegas, why not Enclave/BOS, Courier even FoA.
From my point of view, all endings atm are not good.
And here is other thing - if u go against all factions - where u will dismiss followers:))))

@d_ahat I actually have a pretty well written draft on how I would like the main story of F3/TTW's Capital Wasteland would play out, if it was a faction driven plot in the same vain as NV and F4. I have no doubt it would be one of the better mods out there, too, if I or somebody else ever got around to it, especially since that also includes how the capital wasteland factions would interact with Vegas factions

Alas, that would be a project that would require a lot of dedicated, and skilled, modders, least of all scripters, which I am not.

Sad part - there is at least 3 mods for FNV, that make this - all dead. New faction, Courier faction, cannot remember others. And all of them - "do not touch without my permission". From what i read at least 2 of them need just bug fixes and minor adjustments. No need to start new if..... authors set them as free for all....
And, while i do not play TTW, it will be very ...hmm...not surprising?, if faction from F3 goes to conquer FNV. Or reverse.
And i think, a companion with script? like Wendy and home marker will be very useful. No need always to jump to vanilla home just to take companion.

Well, for FNV - i mean to rule New Vegas. To gain control over the Mojave and Dam. To expand own faction for that. Same can go to F3 too - control towns, rebuild them. I mean,as i say above, looks like it can be done. I think i saw somewhere a RE mod for FNV?!?!

@d_ahat You don't get a faction in NV because yes man is the ultimate "Hello, you just killed everyone that wanted to work with you, let me help you finish the game!" questline. In the draft I have mentioned above, however, I would have plans to let this ending more or less let you help the faction you helped take over the capital wasteland control the mojave. In F3, rebuilding the wasteland goes against the tone of the game, D.C is more or less the africa of the post war america, it is uninhabitable. People still live like cockroaches off of crap that's still left over, and nothing will ever get done or rebuild between the persistent radiation, super mutants, local wildlife, raiders and psychotic mercs running the show. The entire quest line of F3 is all about giving CW a chance at survival, without clean water, you cannot have any sort of life

It doesn't matter, tho, I think bethesda will conveniently forget about this, and in the upcoming F3 remaster, they will re-introduce settlement building, hardcore mode and all the other nonsense modern day Fallout games just have to have

Yeah but for what i've seen, the B42 project was scrapped, though Xilandro might release a standalone version for it like he's been doing recently with other features.

The Resident Evil Mod exists but it was for Fallout 3. However there is a version for a former version of TTW. I have it but I don't have any right to redistibute it.... But here and there you could find some of its ressource reused as the Nemesis, Zombies as ghoul replacer and so on.

The most thing Fallout NV lacks it's a real vehicle system I have XRE, Umatt's Drivable Car, J3x's advanced motobike and Player Vertibird and I love them but at the same time I am disappointed by them. I was trying to merge them to get at least the option to pilot the vertibird from Hopper31 with the cockpit from XRE but I have really poor skills in modding at thi slevel of scripting. I hope the Frontier will bring to us a good system with vehicle fighting ( God I want my personnal tank) or at least Xilandro will release one day the B42 part allowing us to pilot airplane...
