Big ol' ENB recommendation list coming up (all are on the Nexus).
1. Onix ENB: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55318
This ENB, to me, is more like Realistic Wasteland Lighting if it had good shaders that came with it. Used to use it like a year ago and remember it fondly.
2. Overgrowth ENB: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/58009?tab=files
One of those ENB's that are just hard to get rid of. Green shrubs and grass are turned from cardboard cut outs to vibrant portions of the landscape. Honestly my favorite ENB.
3. Rudy ENB: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55076
This one looks amazing in game. It gives off that whole post-apocalyptic desert vibe, moreso expanding on the game's original design rather than changing the atmosphere entirely. Haven't used this much due to it's dependency on it's own weather mod.
4. Dreary ENB: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/60765/?tab=files
I'll be honest, I have never used this ENB for an extended period of time. But from the time that I have spent with it, I can definitively say that it is the most atmospheric and depressing ENB I have ever seen. It takes huge inspiration from the Metro and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.
And last but not least... the one you knew was coming...
5. ENHANCED SHADERS ENB: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49882/
This ENB is the OG. The one that's the most popular ENB on the Nexus in terms of downloads and views. It's a great ENB to use when you don't want to modify the original game too much, as it really is only a shader mod (in my humble opinion). Definitely give it a go, though.
And that's all from me. Other ENB's that are located here (47 ENB, Wanderer's, etc) are great, but I don't really like to use them for a full playthrough (I mainly use them for screenshots). I hope you have fun choosing what to use and playing through another round of New Vegas.
