| Wanted more Mass Effect stuff but there was a distinct lack of content to enjoy in both New Vegas and Fallout 4. Asked a friend to show me the ropes and now I spend more time bringing content into both games than I actually play the games. It’s a strange trade off. |

| I was tired of every mod leaving all the end game/high quality goods in megaton or goodsprings, and decided to add it to level lists, NPCs, and generally, where it made sense. Eventually, I started balancing out the items, adding onto them, and even balanced the entire game around mods I had, so they fell in place and didn't feel like single noted additions from various other people, same way in fallout 3 it is very obvious each and every quest, even location, is made with a different theme, by different people, but it all adds up to create one cohesive world, or at least as cohesive as fallout 3 is
I wish I was skilled with porting or creating my own assets, as I have some fun Ideas, but honestly, I have no time for this sort of thing anymore _________________ http://z0r.de/?id=293

| I started modding back in my oblivion days, the reason i started modding ( in my eyes ) was i was like ''oh wow, free armor? free content? looks cool as hell gotta learn how to add mods'', then i was playing fo3 back in the day and seen some of the old ported content mods, and thought wow id love me some of that! stayed away from it tho as was never much of a forum person, 3 years ago i thought sod it give it ago, joined the forum, then it moved from downloading mods to making ya own, great respect for modders but they was never made my armor my cuppa tea sorta stuff, so figured id give it ago myself to port my own things, aint been happier since, but yeah oblivion was my first game to make me mod, think i saw the flying drake mod and thought jesus i need to do that! and thats what got me into modding |

| Game modding started for me...I think with Skyrim, where I discovered that one the reasons PC gaming was regarded as a better experience over consoles was the ability to add content, create bug fixes, and even port over assets from one game to another. The idea that, free of charge, I could add any amount of new things I wanted, and cater my game to the specific experience I wanted to have really drew me in and it's kept me ever sense. I used to be intimidated by all the technicality of it, but these days it's nothing for me to setup games for friends so that they get a rich and unique experience with games like Fallout. |
