| right, also to add. what I seen in the game plays so far, the holotypes you find scattered all over the wasteland, just plays for so long- like if you watched Oxhorn's videos, 5 minutes later and still listening to the first type he played! and was only halfway done |

| @TheCrimsonBuckr Haha yeah I remember that. Part of me was intrigued and the other part of me was bored to hell. But it makes sense, there is no dialogue so they have to put the story somewhere. Thinking about it though it must get boring after a while standing in one room for 5-10 minutes just to listen to holotapes and read notes. |

| The Enclave are more likely a thing to find in 76 then the BoS that being said I doubt they would have been active kinda sounds like they were all laying low till the events of Fallout 2 much like the BoS laid low until Fallout 1.
It's also real disheartening to see so many people the be so happy about the Enclave in this game and just tossing lore aside cause they don't care, they just want the Enclave and BoS to fight again.
These kind of people are the ones who are gonna be buying the game most, the ones who only played Fallout 3 & 4, who probably ignored New Vegas or didn't like it cause it was boring or thought it was some kind of expansion to 3, and skipped or gave bad reviews to Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics for being too old, they didn't really delve into it's lore and just played for the "lolz", making really stupid looking characters and picking all the jokey or bad choices while mindlessly blasting away to the tunes of old music. They don't care they just wanna shoot stuff and be silly.. This is who Bethesda is pandering to and who are making the big bucks out of. |

| @Obdulio Basically when the bombs dropped, members of the US government and various corporations moved to secret bunkers across the country. The surviving members assumed their new positions and aimed to restore the United States, and finally destroy communism. The new Enclave lore does make sense. But at the same time raises new questions. How did the Enclave loose communications to its holdouts if the BoS in its intimacy is able to establish cross-continental communications? How does a faction which prepared for Nuclear War forget about their own satellites? They've obviously sacrificed their credibility in an attempt to garner more interest. Hoping familiar names will attract older fans, while the ability to play with friends attracts new comers. To think everything would have been fine if they said this game is not apart of the lore. |

| It is perfectly logical to believe that they are there in the the Greenbrier - or in 76 the Whitespring. Here are actually some photos I took tonight during the BETA on Xbox. The bunker there is very clearly inhabited. - Photos:
Above is the actual bunker door and side passage and below is a better view of the corridor to said side passage.

| What sucks for people who are happy about it you're not gonna get to see any Enclave, probably just hear or read about them since the game has no NPCs. |

| @Fury Laser grids do not mean people are home. The laser grid in the Jamiacia Plains Vault was still active 200 years after the nuclear war. Even then, Bethesda has announced themselves that no human/ Non-Feral Ghoul NPCs are present in Fallout 76. On top of that, no dialogue options exist. I'm sure Bethesda is going to attempt an in-game explanation as to why the Enclave is present. The most likely place to find that information would be in the government bunker. We will likely see notes, holotapes, terminals, and if we're lucky some sort of ZAX computer. But I doubt we will find any in-person Enclave personal, just long dead bodies and (hopefully) tonnes of lore. |

| What Bethesda expects is that people will find Enclave gear and role-play Enclave themselves which claiming to be an RPG yea i guess it makes sense but the big difference is unlike a proper RPG you're decisions won't matter since the game will never end and the game world will never change, sure you can nuke a place but then it goes back to normal eventually and it's like nothing ever happened, you're stuck you can't progress.
Same goes for Raiders, Responders, BoS, etc... They said it at the announcement every "NPC" is instead a real-life person, so they're leaving the outfits and gear in the game world for people to take their roles, except to no real end goal. |
