| Even though this is purely subjective, I believe Obsidian is better at producing a higher quality Fallout game than Bethesda as we saw with New Vegas. Fallout 3 wasn't bad but New Vegas had a better world and writing. Fallout 4 was more of a shooter with some RPG elements sprinkled in. It also had pretty boring characters and plot. |

| OK I'm not the expert on FNV...FO3...hell I'm not an expert.
I'll say this for FO4 storyline...yes it leaves much to be desired if you view it from the standpoint of a spectator.
However, if you actually "live" through your character, there is plenty there to allow for creative liberties and make your own storyline...with the plot within the game acting as a kite string to keep you on track and not allow you to get carried away.
I've seen the story/plot for FNV...it seems awesome, so many here and elsewhere love FNV...and that's awesome...and it is entertaining as I have seen videos of all the plot strung together and I'm saying " wow when does this movie come out" only to realize...it isn't. _________________ |

| I think that Fallout 4 was a little to black and white with the decisions you had to make. They should have added the option to be more of an evil character if you wanted to be one. _________________ “You'd find that Lady Luck was really a hooker, and you were fresh out of cash." |

| They did...make everyone "nonessential" shoot them...and then see how nice their faction is to you
I made it my mission to kill mama Murphy before beth patched the game to let me do it without console commands...first few times I met her...even my WIFE said "oh please find a way to silence her..."
needless to say it took me a few restarts to stomach the minute men...and a few quick keystrokes in the console window...but seriously that face/woman/voice made me want to do a voiceover mod for interactions with her to simply say "shut UP" but then I found one
it was for the VATS it would trigger some random sayings appropriate and movielike right before the bullet time started...oh it was satisfying...VERY satisfying...I had a beer after _________________ |

| I have to agree that Obsidian makes better content than Bethesda, even given the short time they had to make FNV and it's DLCs they still imo made a better game than FO3 and its DLCs. Obsidian also stuck with the lore from Fallout 1 and 2. |

| I feel like if Bethesda didn't focus too much on being like fallout new vegas's combat x100 and on settlements then it would have been an "above average" game as it just feels like a FPS with some rpg elements and the DLCs were lack luster and they don't allow some creativity in character and mods as they limited animations to left sided weapons until the modding community finally was able to add in custom animations to the game. _________________ |

| I also believe that the radiant quests should be scrapped away completely. They have no substance and are extremely repetitive and uninteresting. _________________ “You'd find that Lady Luck was really a hooker, and you were fresh out of cash." |

| I'm gonna be honest...Obsidian. Now, don't get me wrong. I really liked Fallout 3 and I thought that even though Fallout 4 was not a good Fallout game. It was still a good game in general.
However with that said...I LOVED New Vegas. I loved the western like atmosphere, the gameplay, the story, the characters, it was all just so good! Does it have problems? Of course. However compared to FO3 and FO4, I felt it had much less problems. I was glad to focus on a whole new way of life in the Fallout universe.
FO3 and FO4 both had a military like theme which primarily focused around the Brotherhood of Steel and their enemies. In FO3 it was the Enclave. In FO4 it was the Institiute.
However in New Vegas we got to see the power struggle between Caesar's Legion and the NCR. On top of that you had Mr. House who watched everything transpire from his penthouse in the Lucky 38. Not only did we get to choose to help either the Legion or the NCR, but we also had a choice to take Mr. House's position and take over New Vegas!
I will say that FO3 and FO4 do have some great elements and even a bit of improvements from New Vegas, but overall New Vegas was my kind of game. I would love to have another one done by Obsidian. |

| Obsidian, hands down. Out of Elder Scrolls and Fallout, New Vegas was the only one I was ever a fan of. I always try to get into the others, but I never find them as compelling. The choices are far more grey, you seem to have much more freedom, and the story/dialogue tends to be a little more well-written. But it's all subjective; this was merely my experience. |

| Obsidian hands down. Although the games they make tend to be... A little more buggy than your average Bethesda games, the characters and world they create are simply amazing (at least compared to Bethesda) Most of the NPCs in NV feel like actual characters, who at least had a bit of effort put into what they are like, while the ones in 3 and 4 (And the TES games) feel like they are just there to hand you a quest, then move on.
Also, radiant quests are lazy and incredibly boring. I wish they'd just remove that system and add in more quests, but oh well. They know people will still buy up all of the games they make. _________________ |

| Obsidian by FAR
I've enjoyed, however eventually gotten bored of every Bethesda Game besides Oblivion.
Yet I've sunk over 400 Hours into New Vegas and that's only on STEAM, I had it for my PS3 for ages before that.
Bethesda are good for things like layout, maps, environments, dungeons etc.
But It's Obsidian that brought New Vegas to life with rich story, characters, and Immersion
Just my opinion of course _________________ - My YouTube - |

| Definitely Obsidian. Unlike a lot of my friends, I have no real "nostalgia" of FO3 even though it was my first Fallout game. I prefer NV's quests, writing, and world compared to FO3's and FO4's. It also feels like Bethesda just tries less when making Fallout compared to TES. _________________ |

I completely agree with this. The Bethesda Fallouts feel like they are using these games as a test environment for their next Elder Scrolls title, which is kinda sad. I would be so happy, if they would just let Obsidian make more Fallout games and give them enough time this time. |

| Absolutely Obsidian. I feel Bethesda rushes their products too quickly, since I noticed there were a few missing elements prior to Fallout New Vegas. Skyrim was full of bugs and problems for me when I first obtained it in stores, however Fallout 4 did not seem to have such a conflict when I tried it out. Though I have a certain feeling in my gut that Bethesda's updates will tamper with how Fallout 4 functions in the near future, it may break some mods, it might not.
But honestly I would say Obsidian would do a beautiful job with the next Fallout game if they were to take their time instead of Bethesda rushing them this time. From what I hear, Obsidian used to be under another name, but the same company involved in the making of the original Fallout games... _________________ "Some men just want to watch the world burn." -Alfred Pennyworth**Screenshot story-arcs on hiatus until further notice** |

| @Admiral Slyther the older Fallout games were made by Black Isle Studios and Interplay, they ran out of money and the IPs were sold. Obsidian was founded by Chris Avellone and some staff from Black Isle Studios. |
