I'm trying to edit some nifscope files so my pistols from the pack can fire properly. however I can't find the files of the weapon meshes anywhere. What am i doing wrong?

The files should be packed in a BSA file. In order to extract those files you need to get a BSA extractor. I am pretty sure there is one called BAE that you can use to extract the files in the BSA.

Okay, so i've done that, openned the files and such, but now im assuming i need to repack the bsa, how would i go about that or is there some sort of literature i can read to figure that out?

@Alfaz no you don't, just do the modifications to the files and save them at the exact same place on your HDD, (see in the bsa file the path) the game is configured to read loose files in priority, so they "overwrite" the bsa version, same thing for everything else.
