Hi, this might be a bit of a useless topic but i really wanted to know if there are more people here that keep trying to make the Fallout games as consistent ass possible.
What i mean by this is that i spend a lot of times picking mods and trying to fine tune everything in game so it makes sense without losing the RPG Elements of the games. Like Damage by caliber, bullets being more lethal but not as much as making melee useless, consistent visuals (for example i love dragbodys amazing overhauls but i don't use the faces because it clashes with the potatoheads of caracters he hasn't changed, i only use the armors).
It's a bit stupid and in the end it's only a game but it kind of became a hobby to me. XD
So if anyone wants to discuss this or recommend a few mods to achieve a game like this, go right ahead. I might even post my choice of mods and tweaks if there's interest .

How did you manage that? I could never get it to work, to use the armors only.

As far as i remember it was as easy as deleting the changes for that Npc using fnvedit. Mind you i meant the Faction Overhauls, not the Npc Overhaul Preview, i didn't install that one. What problems did you encounter when you tried it?

Oh. Which Npc wearing which armor? I remember that you couldn't wear the Armors from the Npc Overhaul Preview, maybe those are linked to the Npc Races?

Well I've tried it with the new legion ovehaul and their arms turned purple and red.

No idea, check if these armors are playable. If they are and your caracter doesn't get the purple skin, then i don't know...
With the ncr mod it worked out fine

Yeah, I like consistency in my games as well. But I do use Drags overhaul's. except the new Legion one, i prefer his old Caesar's New Regime. I think at this point with all the overhauls most NPCs you can talk to have a unique face and clothing. The only ones that don't are the foot soldiers of every faction, wich granted are like 90% of the NPC population but the only time I'm really looking at them is when I'm shooting at them.
I can't wait for the raider overhaul, It will tie everything together
