This never happened to me before, but I was curious if somebody else had a problem like this
Basically, certain raiders in certain spawn areas always, 100%, crash the game. I played thru this modded version before, but it never happened back then, I added some new mods since then, but I don't remember which ones were added in now, off the top of my head
Anyways, these areas cause a hard crash(NV Stopped working and black screen) 100% of the time, if I even try to approach them/enter them:
Dupont Circle
Arlington Library Media Archives(Room with Library Archives for the quest)
Evergreen Mills Foundry and Nortwestern Shack(Funnily, the outside and the bazaar worked fine)
And now, Hamilton's Hideaway, again, when I'm approaching the raiders
What I am getting from this is that the game is having trouble spawning in raiders, for some reason, because if I coc into those locations, or tcl into the areas before they spawn, and let them spawn near me, nothing happens, game works fine. I am looking into this right now, but I am curious to see if anyone had a problem like this before
EDIT: Just as I thought, spawning the offending parties via console commands doesn't crash the game, so the simple act of spawning those specific enemies is crashing the game now, for some reason. No other enemy does this
I have no experience with scripting, did anyone here who mods NPC ever encounter anything like this? Is there a mod or a workaround that changes how fallout spawns scripted leveled enemy encounters so I don't have to coc into every offending raider cell?
Edit 2: Seems like one specific armor was crashing the game. I thought it was the problem, since the legs were all screwed up on the models sometimes
