| I'm absolutely certain i've used every ENB on the Nexus and none of them have really stuck out to me. I would appreciate any suggestions you guys and gals have. If it helps any, my personal favorite ENBs have to be Onix and Blackout but they have some issues that really bother me like Onix ENB's shadows enhancing the imperfections in the landscape and Blackout ENB looking too bright at times making imperfections in some weapon and armor textures very obvious. |

| There's an ENB that's called The Enb of the Apocalypse. It looks really neat. Very dark and gloomy feeling. It captures an actual fallout perfectly. I haven't used it myself, though. _________________ |

| I use NEVADA ENB - Realism which looks a bit like Onix ENB. You should give it a try. Maybe it doesn't have the issues that you had with Onix ENB. Dynamo is also pretty sweet, though it seems to be more demanding than NEVADA ENB. |

| I really like Apex ENB. It was on the nexus awhile back but got taken down. It might have taken some stuff from other enbs but I'm not sure. This might work for you. - Spoiler:

| I've used Apex ENB, had it when I had a 560 ti. Now I get a CTD with my Radeon HD 7950. _________________ |

| Hey sorry about that. I think it might have to do with one of the files that's in there. I think it's ssce5432.dll. Also it could be the enblocal.ini and possible the enbseries.ini. I notice that the proxy library's effect how the enb works. If you haven't checked out Midhrastic ENB on fallout 3 nexus I would recommended it. It works really well with New Vegas and has been updated a bit to run with the latest .249 series. Though it's an alpha build at the moment. But worth checking out. I'm currently using Nevada Skies with it and I'm loving it! - Tesvixen wrote:

| I like Puretone ENB; I was using Dynamo ENB for awhile but kind of got sick of the orange haze everywhere. Although Dynamo did give off the hot desert atmosphere, with Tale of Two Wastelands I like Puretone ENB for the cool DC atmosphere so I have been using that a lot lately. _________________ |

| I started tinkering around with the Enhanced Shaders ENB last night: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49882/?
It's about as plain as you can get, but that's kind of what I was looking for...a good base to edit and customize to my own satisfaction. I added this SweetFX preset: http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/574/ and I'm pretty happy with the combo so far after a little bit of adjustment. Very little performance loss...hardly noticeable. You might want to give it a shot and see what you think.

EDIT: I just posted some screenshots using this set up here: http://vgunetwork.forumotion.net/t941p240-fallout-screenshots-iii#25401 _________________ “Ignorance is curable, stupid is forever.” - Robert A. Heinlein |

| Really like Puretone, thanks for the suggestion Obdulio! Cybedyne looks great too but i'm not sure how it will look on New Vegas. Enhanced Shaders does just what it says it does and does it fantastically but it is a little plain for my taste. _________________ |

| Puretone is fairly fucking beautiful man, I used to use it all the time when i had my rig. I'd also recommend trying out some SweetFX mods. They can really spice things up like a midwife in her 50's. _________________ - My Achievements:

| I've used Old World ENB for a while but it runs a little slower than I'd like on my PC, if your pc is fairly mid-high end I'd recommend it. I'd also highly recommend giving Onix ENB a shot. Looks fantastic with very low fps loss. - Onix ENB from my game:

| Onix or Nevada ENB are both great ENBs. Onix is not resource heavy, and Onix and Nevada are both optimized to use with RWL and/or Nevada Skies. I personally won't recommend Blackout, despite it's popularity. The indoor light beams are bright blue unless you disable about three different settings. |

| Thank you for the kind words regarding Onix ENB, I registered here to let you guys know I'm releasing a new version soon.
It's an overhaul in every setting and I also added a few night brightness options. I have also been working closely with the author of RWL and adapting it to the new weathers overcast, dusty and sunny in the soon to be released RWL version.
Anyway on the topic of this post, ENBs are completely subjective. My advice would be to try every single one that catches your eye until you find the best to you |
