| Right, I don't even know where to start this post, as I don't even know where to start modding my game.
Well, don't get me wrong, my game is already packed to the brim with mods, but I just got notice of this modding network and it's just messing everything I knew quite a bit. Most of the posters here are well initiated here, and will find certain things obvious, but I have a few questions.
What the hell are ENBs? Visual presets, like shaders? Is there any decent ENB that does the same as Nevada skies? That being winter time and dark nights? What about the fallout 4 armors for new vegas? Is it compatible with the fallout 4 armor frames, do the armors innit stand on its own? How are the armor stats?
For example, as I have the realistics headshot mod in my own game, I upped the helmet armor to around 500 DT with the intent to have them stop a few shots at the very least, and I did so manually, so I'm worried about using this mod instead of the pack of mods I have for my own power armors, that being the frames, powered power armors and my own manual changes to their stats. Some other short questions would be: What mod does dragbody use with breezes for his faces? I noticed he said FCO is not compatible with his NCR overhaul mod, or with breezes? How the hell do I stop the visual lighting bugs I have in my game currently? I have nevada skies, EVE and actually god knows what else installed, and the lighting seems to be quite random.
I hope someone is bothered to read through this and give me a hand because, jesus christ almighty, am I having a hard time getting used to the "new" modding scene, been using nexusmods so far, and I didn't even know this existed. |

Hi, see my signature troubleshooting ENB, lot of explanations there. About the rest of your queries I let other reply, I don't have any information. |

| @"Gabol" Good day Gabol, I'm just here to assist you on any questions you said above, and if you have any questions, just reply or ask on this post: ENB: Like darkstyler said, the ENB troubleshooting page will give you an outlook on what ENBs are, but there's two things that you need to know: ENB is the addition used to add the functionality of changed lighting and some visual tweaks to the game. An ENB Preset is the custom preset used with an ENB to give the visual difference based on what the user tweaked, for example Clean ENB is the preset, and provides the files that tweak the game, but requires ENB, which I'll link right here: http://enbdev.com/download_mod_falloutnv.htm As you said, are there ENBs that do the same as Nevada Skies, there are not ENB Presets that are standalone to change weathers or textures, unless a mod comes with the preset, hopefully not confusing you. Fallout 4 Power Armor Mod: The power armor mod is mainly a power armor overhaul, changing the textures and models from FO4 to NV, I'm pretty sure it also changes the sounds, and stats of the power armors. The mod does not have to my knowledge: Power Armor Frames, ability to leave a power armor suit somewhere, I believe it's just like how NV armor worked. Armor stats I can't tell you myself, if anyone else could help with that, that would be appreciated. Also, the stats will have to be tweaked accordingly to the mod, if you want me to take a look at a patch for the mod for your personal tweaks to the headshot damage. To my knowledge, it's not automatically compatible with Powered Power Armor, as they edit the armor entirely, so a patch for both would be needed if wanted to make compatible. Short Questions: - Gabol wrote:

A: Not sure myself, and he is correct, FCO does not work with NCR Overhaul if FCO overwrites NCR Overhaul. It will be compatible if you place the NCR Overhaul below FCO in your load order, should be fine. By default, NCR Overhaul uses breeze, all breeze does it overhaul bodies, so just download the base mod, since it was made to work with that. Robert's body mod is not compatible. - Gabol wrote:

A: Can't exactly tell you the issue you have, perhaps if you could send a mod list, or load order, I could take a look and see what mods you have to narrow everything down. You *can* find the cause with various methods, but let's just start with that. Also EVE doesn't change lighting, only related with FX and textures like blood, bullet impacts, and especially the energy weapon additions it adds. Response: - Gabol wrote:

A: It's not problem, welcome to GUNetwork by the way, GUNetwork is for the community afterall. Also, if you need any help, don't be afraid to ask. Welcome to the community . Yet again, if you need or have any questions needed helped or answered for this topic, just ask on this post. |

Ah, thank you for the thorough answer, although I appreciate the offer to look into the Fallout 4 power armor mods, I don't think I will be using it as I think I'm alright with the current power armor setup I have in my game. Also, I didn't intend for you to do so, I was asking about the power armor stat changes themselves, in case anyone had a rough estimate of how armored they were. I know my way around changing stats in FNVEdit, at the very least. I will post the current mod load order later tonight (?) in this thread to see if you can give me a hand with the lightning issue, and seize some of that generosity of yours. The bug is generally rather subtle, until it isn't, so I don't know if it persists currently. About EVE, I had downloaded it forever ago, perhaps around a few years or so and I didn't quite remember, I thought It did change some lightning, just disregard that. Thank you kindly again for giving me a hand with this. |

It's absolutely no problem, thank you for the reply. I'm looking forwards to helping you fix the persisting issue you're having in game, that is the lighting that is, could you explain what the lighting bug also like, in terms of what it's visually changing, thank you! |
