https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/64161/ after i stupidly install this mod and then uninstall it my main theme music was gone and then no text would appear after start up . im guessing it deleted somethings ldk how to get it back. will l have to install the whole game again ? anyway to get the GUI back , l can put music in the folder to fix that issue but l cant get the UI back .

I checked the files included in the mod. The only thing it does is that it changes your menu music and the main menu display picture. A solution would be to "Verify Integrity" through Steam just to get the original files back. Personally, I hate doing that since it borks my mods. Another solution that I see is just download this mod

Its the HD version of the vanilla loading screens including the main menu, the legal screens, the "Please-Stand-By" screen, etc.

As for the main menu music, you can just go to youtube, search "new vegas theme" then download your chosen video to mp3 using "online video converter". Convert it to "mp3" at "320kbps" and rename it to "MainTitle". After that, go to "Data" and head into "Music" folder, and head onto "Special" folder. Place the your downloaded theme there. So there you have it

It only sounds tedious when I say it here, but when you're already familiarized with the steps its actually pretty simple.

try to verfiy the game files with steam. this should work normal.
