@Piperoffarts Just use Photoshop or such I guess, that is what I used and it's easy to edit.

No mod, man. It’s ported directly from the Witcher 3. For personal use only, I’m afraid.

... hum, I guess that 'maybe' can be taken off by my name. I want to be in.  I maybe super busy, but I make this happen! *taps on her gog.com down loader*   I realized I have never played this game with mods, other than those to fix save games.  Decided to install and set the game ready for the 1st of January. Not 100% sure what kind of character I play, but I have whole week time to figure that out. Also since I've not played NV ages,  it would be quite new and fancy experience again. But one thing is certain I will not be supporting NCR.. I think. Never liked their bureaucracy.

I will be using graphics mods  and  hopefully find few to change few game mechanics I did not like  in the past.

AFTER TWO DAYS, A CARAVAN FOUND HIM IN A HORRIBLE STATE. HE WAS TIRED, HIS BODY WAS STIFF, AND HIS MIND WAS NUMB. THEY LOPPED HIM ON THEIR PACK BRAHMIN AND LUGGED HIM ALL THE WAY TO THE HUB. SAMMY WAS TREATED BY WHATEVER MEDICAL HELP WAS THERE. AFTER THREE DAYS, HE WAS BACK IN GOOD HEALTH. THE PSYCHIATRIST THERE TOLD SAMMY WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO HIM AND HOW HE GOT THERE. HE TOOK LIGHT OF THE SITUATION AND SAID THAT HIS BROTHERS WERE "TRYING TO GET OFF BABYSITTING". HE STAYED IN THE HUB FOR A WHILE WORKING AS A BARKEEP WHILE ALSO DOING SOME CHEM AND WEAPONS DEALING ON THE LOW. HE WOULD SELL CHEMS AND HOLDOUT WEAPONS TO THE GANGS THERE. HE WOULD EVEN HAVE A HIT OR TWO WITH THEM, HELP THEM ORGANIZE ROBBERIES, AND TEACH THEM HOW TO BE MORE COMPETENT AT COMBAT. THAT DIDN'T LAST FOR LONG THOUGH. MANY OF THE GANG MEMBERS WERE EITHER KILLED OR ARRESTED AND DROPPED OFF AT THE NCRCF. BY THAT TIME, IT WAS TIME FOR HIM TO LEAVE. HE STILL WONDERS FROM TIME TO TIME HOW THEY'RE DOING.

SAMMY PACKED UP HIS THINGS, BOUGHT A PACK BRAHMIN, HIRED SOME GUARDS, AND HEADED OUT TO THE BONEYARD. FOR THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF STAYING THERE, HE WAS A WITNESS TO GANGS, RADIATION HOTSPOTS, AND REGULATORS. HE TRIED TO WARM UP TO THE REGULATORS DUE TO THEM HAVING SIMILAR BACKGROUNDS OF WORK, BUT THEY WERE JUST DICKS. THE GANGS EVENTUALLY WARMED UP TO HIM AND PROTECTED HIM FROM THE FEDS AND POTENTIAL DANGERS. SAMMY DIDN'T STAY FOR LONG. HE DID HIS USUAL BUSINESS AS A BARKEEP AND CHEMS/ARMS DEALER AND LEFT.

AT THIS TIME, SAMMY WAS 26 AND NEEDED A LEGIT JOB. HE NEEDED A JOB THAT COULD GET HIM SOME REAL CAPS. HE OVERHEARD SOME CARAVAN GUARDS TALKING ABOUT A JOB OPENING FOR A COURIER. HE ASKED THEM WHERE THAT JOB OPENING WAS AND THEY SAID IT WAS BACK AT THE HUB. HE TOOK THE JOB AND WORKED AS THE APTLY NAMED COURIER SIX FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS. HE HAS GONE TO MANY PLACES LIKE MONTANA, UTAH, NEW RENO, BULLHEAD, AND EVEN DENVER(WHICH HE HIGHLY REGRETTED GOING TO)! BY THE TIME HE TURNED 30, HIS NEXT MOVE WAS TO GO TO NEVADA.

IT WAS AT THAT TIME SAMMY GOT THE JOB THAT WOULD CHANGE HIS LIFE. OH, IF HE ONLY KNEW WHAT WAS IN STORE FOR HIM... IF HE ONLY KNEW.

MORE FACTS ABOUT SAMMY:

*HIS MOTHER TAUGHT HIM HIM ARITHMETIC, SCIENCE, HISTORY,
AND ENGLISH. THIS BENEFITED HIM GREATLY DURING THE TIME WHEN HE WAS TRAVELING ON HIS OWN.

*HE WAS ALWAYS SEEN AS THE "HALF-BREED PEKINGESE MUTT" BY HIS BROTHERS AND MANY OTHER RELATIVES ON HIS DAD'S SIDE DUE TO HIM BEING HALF-CHINESE.

I haven't played New Vegas in far too many years but the main thing holding me back has been the dated graphics...until I took a gander at the screenshots gallery. There have obviously been some simply AMAZING texture overhauls that have come out since I last looked...I've seen the weapon and character models of Dragbody and Cpt. Rex (You two are pretty much wizards at this stuff! Love it all!) Can anyone recommend some great environmental texture packs or a good foundation of mods that would be considered "Must-haves" to get the game up to date?

I don't want to put my name on the list this go around, between work picking up and totally being out of FNV for so long, it would take me to late into January to start I believe...But I am highly interested in picking it back up for a delayed 2018 playthrough haha

Well to get my game to the way it looks, I have used NMC's Textures, UHQ Textures and Poco Bueno. Idk if I will use Poco any more though. Also would highly recommend trying an ENB. Those help a lot.

I saw some of the screens you posted! Exactly the one's I was talking about above in fact! Your game, it looks fantastic! Will definitely be giving those mods a shot, Thank you!

Try some things out. See what you like. I an also using Vurt's Flora Overhaul. But try and get the main things set out first.
