| Your ideas and thoughts on a potential fallout MMORPG? I'm interested in hearing input, I personally think it would be a great idea if done correctly which means Bethesda needs to bring in the original developers of fallout who actually know what they're doing not this FPS shooter crap they're trying to make fallout into. |

| MMOs aren't really my thing, A Fallout game with optional co-op would be fun though. |

| Co-op would be a nice addition, however I think it would be interesting exploring the wastes with a group of people coming from various backgrounds with their own agendas in Post apocalyptic America, Imagine traveling to a place like the sierra madre with your "friends" only to have them turn on you for the treasures of the casino or serving a tour in the NCR, being raised in the Brotherhood of Steel, traditional Vault dweller upbringing with a neutral outlook or a member of the Enclave, a supermutant under the masters army. These could all be possibilities and everyone fighting for their own groups interests and agenda or maybe they go out for themselves. |

| Well, Bethesda already did Creation Club, so their money thirst won't stop if they make a MMORPG and it will become like SWTOR (but I didn't played to TESO, but I guess it could work as TESO) _________________ |

| I don't really think an actual MMORPG would be the best thing, it would be interesting non the least though! Personally I would just like a normal fallout game with optional co-op or maybe one kind of like a borderlands type set up? For the characters have a few set characters, Vault dweller, NCR trooper, Brotherhood/Enclave, etc. But have each character go through a starting story (kinda like how MMO's start just to give a bit of background on the characters) or start with a bit of a story cutscene, then have it open and start in a small town or outpost? Just depends on how'd it start, because some people like total blank slates to put their own backstory onto the character. |

| I've never really been too big on MMOs, I don't really like button mashing and tanky enemies. It could work well for the world of fallout I guess, but I think it would just feel off. The sense of being alone and the tense atmosphere that make 3 and NV great just wouldn't fit into an MMO. _________________ |

| I can't believe people hate the newer games being set on the East Coast and having great gameplay but LOVE the idea of a multiplayer Fallout game. Fallout is supposed to be singleplayer, not multiplayer.
ESO was so hated because people thought it was Bethesda trying to get money out of the MMO crowd using their singleplayer game, and to be fair, it WAS a cashgrab. It's fun but it doesn't feel like TES, and this will be the same for Fallout. |

| @"Corvo" I don't think anyone hates Fallout being set in the east coast, I mean you do need a change of scenery. I like how they've been changing it up, if every game was set in the west it'd get really dull. I personally hope they go to even more places in the future! Maybe even back to the mid-west or maybe even the deep south! But I think everyone knows in their hearts that Fallout is supposed to be a single player game, but haven't you had those times where you'd just like those companions that you have to be one of your friends just to mess around with? Whether it'd just be roaming the wastes or making a little story together, I think it'd be pretty fun! But I do agree that Fallout as an MMORPG doesn't jive with me either, I'd just like co-op with a friend or two |

| Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the idea of a Fallout MMORPG. I like to play solo in my own world. I would definitely try it though but if it ended up ESO, I'd say no thanks. |

| Fallout has really established itself as a single player game. And at its core are single player mechanics that drive the gameplay. Such as the leveling system, looting system and speech system. Now I am not really a MMORPG sort of guy. I played a little bit of runescape back in middle school. But it would require a massive overhaul of what we know as a fallout game in order to pull off a multiplayer game. Also what about factions. This would require balance. What would stop say a Legion faction from steamrolling the Followers of the Apocalypses, or unfair, nazi moderators from commanding its "citizens" to pay caps, or abusive private servers. Of course this would be solved by in-place automated monitoring. but regardless it would be complex. _________________ swiggitty swooty I'm coming for that booty -George Washington |

| I like it single player. I can play it my own way, take my time, and not feel rushed by other players. I tried ESO for a bit and it wasn`t bad. I don`t feel it was that great either. We wouldn`t be able to mod it too, so that is a strike against it already. I got more into the singleplayer games to get away from people in mmo`s. I like it better this way. |

| @HrtlssAssassin I am worried about it becoming like Conan Exiles. In which you have factions or clans lording over individual players. Destroying their bases, looting their stuff etc. And to top it all off, there are server moderators who don't enforce their own rules, or are even participating in the abuse. It would have to be a more hands off approach to controlling the servers. _________________ swiggitty swooty I'm coming for that booty -George Washington |

| @"stoobygacks" Yeah, that would suck. Servers would be rampant and it wouldn't be very fun. I am not a big fan of MMOs anyway, and with Fallout it gets some of its charm by being a solo game. Your game, your choice, ya know. My biggest concern would be that if they did make a MMO game, it would be like ESO. I don't think it is a good idea but who knows? You wouldn't be able to mod it either which would blow. |

| Most opinions are that fallout should stay single player but most neglect the fact that the wasteland is such a huge place. If they kept the harsh playing like Fallout 2 had, made everyone on an even keel so to speak, make things like power armor, energy weapons/heavy weapons difficult to obtain and everyone being a potential target for someone else I think it would do very well. Imagine you decide to start as your own vault dweller who can then proceed to join any number of factions or stay neutral as a trader, who knows you can write your own story in the wasteland for what you want your character to be and player encounters would be a huge part of the wasteland. You go out to scavenge for supplies for you and your companion or companions and encounter a group of raiders but are they NPCS? no they're players hold up in an area with supplies that you need.
Obviously if everywhere is combat enabled that would make grounds for campers that achieve the end game stuff but to balance that out would be some kind of loss system and karma/bounty system for murders committed. I think it would be very interesting to see people out developing their own settlements or helping major factions take over more territory with some kind of system similar to planet side where certain factions control different areas and taking outposts and bases changes the geography of the map and who owns it. |
