| I finally got myself an SSD and went about unstalling FNV and all the mod managers(NMM and Prideslayers FOMM) and deleted all mod info and saves and everything to have a fresh game.
Reinstalled to my SSD.
Loaded up, everything was working fine, then my Nexus mod manager stopped working, I would install a mod, it would work then my when I loaded up the game the mod wouldn't load.
Then the 4gb launcher stopped working. It would crash halfway on start up.
So i switched to the FOMM thinking that it was NMM being ass as usual.
That worked for a launch or two
then IT stopped working, crashed whenever i tried to install a mod.
Then the only way for me to get mods to work was manually installing them.
but now NMM is uninstalling mods, like project Nevada, wmm, onehud, uio, and Darn.
Speaking of darn
the ini edits still exist.
yet in game nothing is messed up even tho the mod is loading.
Every single ESP and ESM and all that is inside my data folder, but if I launch through the NMM or FOMM everything is broken only certain mods work.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled this game 6 times in the past week or two. I need a fix at this point.

| I've had a similar issue happen to me as well. I fixed it by running as admin sounds too simple to work but it worked for me.
If you really want to fix it you may have to uninstall everything and before reinstalling go into your app data delete anything NMM or whatever's related to modding and delete everything in your my documents related to NMM or Fallout New Vegas.
My issue may of been a permissions issue moving everything from a HDD to a SSD so IDK if any of this will help you or not but I hope it does. _________________ |

| Nah i fixed it, had something to do with my temp folder.
So i went into the temp folder and created a file called "filename.cs"
then made my temp folder not read only and it worked, _________________ "I'm not saying it's your fault, although you could've done more...."

| @MoogleFX You actually didn't even need to uninstall the mod mangers and move them. You just had to reassign the path. The best way to do it too, that way when NMM stores the files that you download, it's on the HDD, resulting in less read/writing on the SSD, it will then install the mods though in the directory. The way I did it was moved everything straight to the ssd with the all the regular paths that Steam would install in, uninstall on main, then reinstall on ssd. As long as the paths are right, it will see all the files there and install pretty quick. There was something I had to change in the app data but I forget what it was. Food for thought if you ever have to move it again. How big of an improvement have you gotten? Mine was pretty big, went from 10 min load times to a minute or less. |

| That's the thing though, everything was in the correct location. My game was working, then it just STOPPED, Now i'm having a different issue. Game was working fine, I quit to download the better burned man mod. Once it was done I used archive invalidation and now my game launches like this. _________________ "I'm not saying it's your fault, although you could've done more...."
