...For the Next Fallout game. Yeah, the character limit for the title can be a bit annoying sometimes.
Anyways, if we know anything about Bethesda, they're gonna be using a set cast of voice actors to voice a lot of characters in their next Fallout entry. What do I mean by this? You know Liam O'Brien, right? You know, the guy who voiced like a 1/3 of all the minor characters in New Vegas. Yeah, that's what I mean.
If this would ever be a thing for the next Fallout game, which set of voice actors would you want to fill the roles of many of the characters in the game?

That’s an interesting question. While playing fallout 4 recently I have noticed some familiar voices in minor npcs that I never really paid attention to initially. For example, I’ve heard Garrus Vakarian countless times while traveling the commonwealth. I also noticed that the diamond city guard is the same voice of Koth Vortena from SWTOR.
As far as who I’d like to hear, I can’t say specific names but I would like them to continue this trend of using voices from other games’ familiar characters.
Another voice that comes to mind is Fenris from dragon age who voiced a lot of npcs in Skyrim. I think the imperial general (can’t recall his name right now) was also the voice of captain Bailey from mass effect citadel security.

@Calder_Wren I think Bethesda Game Studios are now noticing that if you're gonna have a set cast of voice actor voice a bunch of NPCs, you really want to get some dependable voice actors to fill in those many roles. It also seems that they got some really well-known talent in the voice acting business to do some work for them. Dave Fennoy--the man who voiced Lee from the Walking Dead and other games--voiced that pastor dude and that black mobster that you run into after you kill his son.
This wasn't always the case for them back in 2006-2008. Oblivion had a pretty shoddy voice lineup (The guy who voiced all the Elves was so annoying), and Fallout 3's lineup--while not the best all-around cast-- at least made up for it by showing some damn emotions and "character" with the NPCs they were given.
New Vegas was all-around better. The lineup did an overall good job with what they were given... for the most part. What made it suffer though was the fact that world space felt small compared to Fallout 3, so the fact that Liam O'Brien voiced like a 1/3 of the NPCs in the game was much more noticeable. There were also still some instances of pretty bad voice acting. Oscar Velasco's character would have been taken more seriously if they cast another voice actor in the lineup like Jesse Burch, Peter Reneday, or Yuri Lowenthal. Those three actors know how to show emotion(Jesse Burch can really do some inflection with his voice when given the chance).

Wes Johnson needs to play more of the human NPCs in Fallout and TES VI. As far as I know Beth hasn't been using his talent as much as they did in Oblivion. Mostly he just plays the protectrons and super mutants now.

I agree that New Vegas really had an improved voice acting cast. I would've prefered more variety as said before. Honestly the entire cast of No Country For Old Men would've been perfect for random NPCs, even the heavyset beehive hair woman at the desk.

@EyeShotFirst If I remember correctly, a FNV developer during an interview said that the voice acting sessions for New Vegas were sort of a clusterfuck. The Voice actors who did all the minor NPCs (Liam O'Brien, Jesse Burch, Ari Rubin, Avery K. Waddell, etc) didn't really get that much direction from the casting team. A lot of the sessions were pretty rushed too, so that would explain why characters like Canyon Runner and Oscar Velasco sounded so rushed and campy. Big name talent like John Doman and René Auberjonois got lots of time and direction when doing sessions though.
You know? This could also explain why some characters sound so different from their voice actors. Characters like Dobson sound so jarring when you watch them speak.
