Mods are meant to be enjoyed, yes. But that is to the authors' discretion who create these mods in the first place. Special access mods are requested of the authors, and so to stomp on that, is no different from spitting in the face of the authors who's mods you enjoy.

It is a matter of involvement, community, appreciation. Not satisfying arrogant entitlement as the sort you seem to have. For what is here, for the content we have the privilege to enjoy here that otherwise can not be hosted on Steam or Nexus, on top of that to be able to enjoy the opportunity to meet others to befriend here. It is something to appreciate than to arrogantly insult, the GUN community, especially it's mod authors, won't lose any sleep knowing someone like you that can't appreciate their public releases, will not have access to their special access content, nor the community to not be associated with someone like you.

I agree mods can extend the life of a game or even give some to a really dead game
but keep in mind that many mods are made with the free time of people who have lives
Lives that they kinda need to work on as you may expect in Reality people are pricks

This System* is a bit of a failsafe from the mods being stolen and save a headache for the lad or las who made em , now that some are sensetive as all hell
as well as make mods with content from other games sometimes it does good but think about it
If you spend hours , days, weeks or may even years makin a great mod that you put pashion
friends voice actors , time of your life to work on something that may or may not get you a buck
End up on a Russian site where some lad stole it and says suka suka I made this in 4 days I am a cool dawg suck my ***** I made this go and ****** yer own ***

Life is a bit of a hassle lad , dont know your age or your life but if you are gonna fight a wolf pack
you might as well be armed with something rather than nothing like you are now *shrugs*
