Hello to everyone, I know how to rig armors and helmets into fallout but there always seems to be an issue when I try to rig hand models. It has always been a big problem to me is there any trick into rigging the hand models if so help me.

What I do to bypass that issue is that I remove the glove part of the armor and rig that to to the lefthandmale/righthandmale.nif skeleton. This is for FNV, not FO4.

I know a few modders stop at the gloves and then use something Craftable gloves and use those, as apparently gloves can be a real pain for Fallout 4.

rigging the hands is the most tedious part of modding armor but if the armor just wouldn't look normal without the gloves you can make your own bones in 3ds max like custom length and width that's what i do

I usually use in game gloves or hands with custom textures. i normally just cut off the hands in blender. if they have unique gloves with armor or something ill just cut off the fingers. hands are always a problem. Best of luck!
