So, after a quick search around the forums, it seems like a good idea to introduce myself to everyone.

So, long story short, I saw the "Fallout New Vegas: Remastered" fan trailer, and just thought to myself that it was about time I re-installed my New Vegas and tried my damnedest to fry my CPU and make LOOT beg for mercy. Truth be told I'd never actually modded NV before, unlike all other Bethesda titles I've played. So after going through the usual mods in people's load orders (EVE, NMC, WRE, Project Nevada, etc.)(and realising that there was not only NMM, but also FOMM (and then spending a solid hour looking up how to use FOMM), I went back to the video to see what other mods were in play. Then I saw the mod that ports the F4 power armour into F:NV (can't remember it's name) and I click the link, discover this site, do some reading and here I am, signed up and ready to work my hardest into getting access to that mod (At least I'm being honest about my intentions here XD).

Seriously though, although the PA Mod is what originally motivated me to sign up, I am actually now generally curious to get a feel for this community and try out some mods I didn't even know existed. And I'm really looking forward to it .

So, about me. I'll try and keep it short and sweet (because as shown by the paragraph above, I tend to ramble). In essence I'm just a regular ol' 17 year old South-African dude who's fallen in love with mods. I haven't made any of my own yet, but when I have some spare time I'd definitely like to learn how. Anyway, just want to say hi to everyone and let you know that I'm really keen to learn all about this community.

P.S. I know my personal description was a bit short, so I'd be happy to answer questions or just chat (SANS giving you credit card info or nuclear launch code. Sorry to dissapoint.)

Welcome to Gunetwork!   I don't recommend focusing on getting access to private mods when there is so much to talk about and so many friends you can make here! If you stay active be patient, you will be a colonial in no time!

Welcome, @Spitch-Spitch! It's not that bad if you came here just because of mods. Most of the newcomers here for that reason and i was one of them too. But i discovered interesting thing. This is really good place to stay because it's one of the friendliest and coolest community you can find. There is a lot of people who likes to start interesting discussions or help and teach someone, just ask. Anyway, nice to meet and enjoy your time here.

I admire your honesty really But like what @Nukacide and @gentledamnspy said, don't focus too much on getting private access. GUN is a lot more than that. I've been here for some time now and I can assure you that the people here are really great to be with! I hope to see you more around here
