| So as I'm sure everyone and their grandmother is aware, the Enclave helmet has a part of it's beak missing. See below photo for reference. - Enclave Helm:
Now that's all good and dandy, in any normal circumstance you'd say "that's cool I'll just go and find the part that's missing." HOWEVER No-one knows what exactly is missing. Not even the Devs who designed the thing!!!! Personally I don't see how such a catastrophic oversight could possibly take place. Even J Sawyer just said "I'm not sure. We based the remnants armour on the fallout 2 cover art." But to cut a long story short I have permission to revamp DaeJones's XV Armour series to make it bigger and better. However whilst I'm at it I'd really like to make the helmet fully sealed, i.e fill the hole in the beak, yet I have no ideas on any cool concepts. If worst comes to worst I'll just end up extending the beak and making it cover the gap. So alas I'm turning to the VGU, does anyone have any ideas on what I can do with the gap? |

| To be honest I never noticed. I always though it was supposed to look like that. Since something should be there, it should be the lower part of a beak. - Spoiler:
Maybe something like an eagle beak would be cool. Cuz you know, Enclave, America, Freedom, Eagle. It all connects. |

| To me there should just be a separate, similar plate to cover the rest of the opening. The one that's there doesn't really strike me as a beak, as much as it does something like the central part of a gasmask or something. |

Yeah it's something that isn't really noticeable, at least if you aren't looking for it. Maybe it is suppose to look like that. As for my suggestion, you should maybe post a picture of what it looks like with the "beak" fully covering the area. Others can tell you if it looks good or not. I honestly don't know what else to suggest, sorry for not having a better suggestion. EDIT: Covering it up with a seperate smaller lower half of the "beak" like tesvixen suggested actually sounds like a good idea. _________________ We'll Bang okay? |

| I made a little rough representation if the beck is fully covered, doesn't look that bad. If there's a rule about pictures being too big then let me know, I'll spoiler it. Edit: I'll just spoiler it. - Spoiler:

| I think it looks really good with it fully covered like that. Cush should make it look like that, I don't know what else you could do to fill the gap. Thank you for showing a picture of it MundieElMilk. _________________ We'll Bang okay? |

| Gonna be honest I hate the look of it fully covered in that picture. I'm also shocked that none of you have noticed this before, guess I'm just over critical!
Looking at gas masks I think I'll most likely do something similar to what the T-45 has in the same place or go with the lower beak concept.
It's probably going to be a case (knowing what the nexus is like) of me getting abused to the high heavens over making some sort of demon spawn "lore" change. So it'll likely be an optional "repair" at the workbench. |

| I've never noticed the missing part, and now that you've pointed it out it's bugging me to no end. I'd assume it'd just be another plate to cover the gap, but also could be a spot for a gas mask as he pointed out. |

| Depending on Enclave power suit lore, I would suggest one of two fixes. If the suit is a rebreather, then I would put some sort of transmitter/speaker on the front with a mesh or grill. You have to speak somehow. If the suit is a filter, then I would make the front into another air intake as the one on the side looks a little small. The enclave is supposed to have advanced technology, so maybe a combination of the two would be in order. That would be better than just closing it off for me. It's your mod...We can just make suggestions. Just my Opinion!!! Cheers!!! V/R MistTiger |

| Seeing the two adapters on the sides of the gap leads me to believe it's for Chemical Filtration in case of severe biological warfare. AND at the same time I could see it as a connector for a loudspeaker/voice altering device (to sound more intimidating) in riot control situations..... So...perhaps it is both? |

| well, you could try putting like a gas mask type device on it. with tubes connecting on one side going to the back piece. it'd look pretty neat. _________________ |
