| I played a lot both FO3 and FNV games and interacted with a lot of NPC's. However, there is a particular NPC I'm specially fond of: Lily Bowen, the friendly Nightkin in Jacobstown. - Spoiler:
She has been my favorite companion of all times . I’ve loved her since I met her for the first time, when I used to play on 2011. The fact that mastodon talked and acted as if she were an elderly lady amused me a lot, not to mention she confused me with his grandson. I liked her immediately. However, my fondness for her started as soon as I accepted Dr. Henry mission. On those times I was afraid to even get closer to Goodsprings Cemetery, since for some reason every time I loaded a savegame, a Giant Radscorpion appeared and furiously chased me. When Lily joined me for the first time I didn’t travelled to the cave where you are supposed to complete the mission Don Henry gives you…unintentionally I fast travelled to goodsprings cemetery, and when the loading screen started to load I suddenly shocked and thought “Aaah, the Giant Radscorpions”. I was right, as soon as we got there a Giant Radscorpion appeared; it was ready to sting my courier when Paff!!!!!...Lily gave it the hit of its life in no time until it was completely dismembered, crying out “I won't let you hurt my babies”…. I was very impressed and touched . Not sure what level my courier had, but as we kept travelling Lily practically pulverized all the enemies (with exception of the deathclaws). From that day on I appointed her my courier's personal bodyguard. The dialogue and her background story completed the affection I felt for her and I kinda see her as my granny in the game. Do you have a similar experience with another character from any fo the games (FO3 and FNV)?. |

| Moira Brown. Now I know that many people dislike her, a lot, but I never understood why. She's one of the characters in Fallout 3 that aren't all "Fuck today, fuck this world, fuck you" all the time, and she tries her very best to make the world a better place. And if you look at all the places where the Wasteland Survival Guide appears, you can see she and the Lone Wanderer definitely had an impact. It's all over the DC Wasteland, it appears in the Mojave and in the Commonwealth. Now I'm not very good at geography (couldn't show you my town on a map if I tried), but those places aren't exactly next to each other.
She's got a personality I like, she's always the first shop I go to. She somehow manages to survive a nuclear blast and comes out as a ghoul, something that usually takes months (or was it years? Not sure.) to happen. And even then she's happy and optimistic and gods damn it I like that woman. |

| I think I admire Boone the most out of anyone in the series. I always end up getting him first as a follower and he's always there when I assault The Fort and assassinate Caesar, Boone and I go through the game together. He's a fantastic shot with his rifle and his perk is one of the best especially if you play as a sniper like myself. He has a troubled past and going around rescuing slaves and helping the NCR is what I like to do and it builds up his character to the point where he saves Bonnie Springs with you and I really like that.
I'd say Cass is second because she, like Boone, has an interesting story but I think I still like Boone the most. _________________ |

| One of my favourite is Joshua Graham. He survived being set on fire and thrown into the Grand Canyon, for a start. He united a tribe and taught them to fight proficiently. But the coolest thing about him is that he is the only man that Caesar fears. |

| Definitely Marcus. He shows what Mariposa super mutants can accomplish when they band together and decided to not be idiotic. Just look at how successful Jacobstown is. |

| Though I do enjoy myself some Moira and her crazy antics my favorite NPC by far was Reilly from Reilly's Rangers. She is dedicated to the well being of her troops something that most factions or people in fallout don't really do. That willingness to risk her life to save her troops even when she knew she had no chance of making it out alive. I also loved how she insiste on paying you and she doesn't treat you like you are some filthy wastelander. So all in all Reilly can be my wingman anytime. _________________ Yours sincerely, GumShoe

| In Fallout 3, it's Abraham Washington, his love for history and wanting to preserve it gains my respect. Doing the quest to frtch all the historical artifacts to preserve the Capitol Wasteland and teach future generations the history behind the once beautiful and historical city of Washington.
In NV, it's either a tie between Joshua Graham and Ulysses. Graham for just being a general badass who not only scares Caesar and poses a threat to his Lefion, but respects and upholds his ancestors and heritage while teaching others to fight with proficiency. Ulysses is a guy who I would enjoy spending hours talking about history with and how one man can change history for better or worse, along with his great strength and being one of the strongest characters in the entire Fallout universe. _________________ - PC SPECS:

I've no clue why, but "Lefion" sounds like a french version of the Legion to me. Look at this, it's perfect: - Le Lefiónary d'Assassin:

| Boone in NV is my boy. He's always my companion. He's a life saver when I come across a swarm of cazadors. I play on very hard and caxadors are annoying to hit. Boone will drop them for me. |

| Joshua Graham, one of, if not, THE coolest Character in the Fallout Universe.
I'm also fond of Boone, I just wish his face didn't look like a potato. _________________ - My YouTube - |

| F03 has got to be Desmond Lockhart. Dude is just so enigmatic and interesting. Plus I found his paranoia justified conisdering what happened.
FNV probably probably the King. He's a funny kind of wierd much like Moira, but he only has the best intentions for the commuinity of Freeside. I think thats admirable. |

| For New Vegas, I'd have to say the companions. Each one had a story quest that made you feel sad (Raul,Boone) or were just entertaining to have around (Veronica, Cass - still had some sad stories). Boone especially, he might not be the most interesting to talk to, but you go through so much together. Going on exterminations (His sniper build is really useful for me), get mad feels from his story, and go on an epic legion final battle together. I feel like it was me and him vs the world (Legion). The rest of the companions are more or less good compared to him (Raul is funny and tragic).
Chief Hanlon, Mr House, and Caesars Legion are the ones that were most interesting to talk to about the philosophy and the future of their factions. Mr House inspired me with his speech about advancing mankind, Chief Hanlon represented the true situation of the NCR in a realisitic yet melancholic way (I love his voice too). Caesars interesting but I see him as an antagonist - A good fucking antagonist
Fallout 3... Moira brown. I didnt mind her quest or eccentricities at all, they were fun and challenging. President Eden was interestingeven if hes a ripoff of the Master. Not too many interesting NPCs in Fallout 3 sadly. |

| The character I am most fond of out of those two games is probably Boone as he has been my number 1 companion of choice on all of my New Vegas playthroughs. He is just a very well made character with a great story, plus seeing as I usually side with the NCR and also play with sniper rifles regularly he is a good companion to have while wandering about.
I do also like Veronica and Arcade Gannon out of the companions on NV, I can't really relate as much with Fallout 3 characters in comparison however, it seems like Obsidian did a very good job in helping the player connect with the game world and it's characters. |

| It's a tie between Raul and the Stealth Suit MKII.
Raul was the first companion I ever had in New Vegas, or Fallout 3 for that matter. I found out companions were a thing because of him. I Found him by complete accident at around level five, went up to Black Mountain because "Super Mutants? I can kill those". Eventually I reached the top and went into a building used a pair of terminals and got a cool-old-guy gun-slinging Mexican ghoul. He's so many awesome tropes at once, it's very hard for me not to hire him at least once per play through.
The Stealth Suit MKII however, is a much simpler thing. The, in my opinion, best part of Old World Blues was X-13, I think that's the right lab, and the best part of it was the infiltration testing, that coupled with her personality and the fact that I legitimately feel bad when un-equiping her, gives her a special place in my heart.
For Fallout 3, most characters annoyed me or left little to no impression, but if I had to make a choice, I'd say Bittercup. I don't know why, but when I first went to Big Town, she just came so far out of left field that left a lasting impression. |
