| I don't know exactly why but I always had a soft spot for Bittercup from FO3. She is just so clueless about the harsh reality of the Wastes and living outside the sequestered life of Lamplight that I always wanted to save her. "Gurk_meja" made a voiced companion mod featuring her, so my character finally could "rescue" her. Of course I modded her to suit my vision of what the "Misery Girl" should look like. - Vanilla Bittercup:

I have Bittercup as companion, haha. There is actually two who I'm really fond of, Ulysses and Legate Lanius. They are both intelligent characters and I like the way they speaks. And thing about Legate, he is harsh and most of the time I play Fallout with that kind of character. |

| Lot of good picks here, my top 3 are all from NV: Joshua Graham, Raul, and Ulysses. They all have great stories and are the baddest hombres in the mojave. 1st place goes to Joshua, that rivers of Babylon quote from Psalms has to be the most memorable line in the game. |

| In FO3, I was very fond of Cerberus, the guard dog/Mr. Gutsy of Underworld. His extreme "loyalty" to the denizens of the museum is really touching. It was really fun shooting his combat inhibitor "scratching his back" so that he will be able to "help" the ghouls out by showing how he truly feels. In FNV, I really liked Raul, his story was different being that most of Fallout never really mentions a lot of things about Mexico. Not only that, but Raul's story is actually kind of touching, him doing his best to save his sister but in the end lose her anyway. I also like stories about vaqueros, really but an interesting twist in the cowboy world. Lastly, who doesn't like Danny Trejo's voice. _________________ |

| I like Joshua Graham the most because of his backstory and how rough and rugged he is as a character. _________________ “You'd find that Lady Luck was really a hooker, and you were fresh out of cash." |

| To be honest, I was a little surprised by the answers some people gave here It's very interesting to see the kind of NPC's that piss the mass majority off were actually some people's favorite part of the game.
Personally, I was quite fond of Liam Neeson's character in Fallout 3. I found James to be a very fleshed out character who really brought a heartache to the story. Love him or hate him, he really made you feel something for the character and I personally had a sense of loss when he was gone.
Maybe there's just something about the story or maybe it's Liam Neeson's way of introducing demons on screen or in his voice. But he's by far the only Fallout character that has stuck with me. _________________ ____________________________________________________________

| I really like Joshua Graham, I'm not a religious guy but he really stood out to me as a great character that used his religion in a way that kept him going. It's a shame the DLC he was housed in was kinda bad. He deserved a better DLC _________________ Grudge rhymes with fudge.

| Veronica, Boone, Arcade, Cass, Raul, Joshua Graham, Christine, Dean Domino, Elder Elijah, Caesar, Lanius, Tabitha, Orion Moreno, Ulysses, Fantastic... Heh, guess I'm fond of a lot of FNV characters. Hard to choose who I like more. They're all just too damn interesting (or funny). Like, take Orion Moreno. He's a horrible bastard who's basically an ex-Nazi (as former Enclave) who enjoyed slaughtering innocent civilians. But then there's a real poignancy to the things he says, like, "If we'd won, I'd be called a hero" and when the Enclave were defeated, "Kiss America goodbye boys." I'm not saying I agree with the character's opinions, or even like him, but I can definitely empathise with the bitterness he expresses. He saw the ideals he believed in and grew up with (rightfully) collapse with him powerless to stop it. That's a pretty hard pill for anyone to swallow. The point is I could write a lot of spiel about all of the characters I listed so I'll just leave it at that one for now. I like how these characters all have differing views and opinions, and even if you completely disagree with them you can still "like", and even learn from, them. _________________ "It's 106 miles to Arroyo, we've got a full fusion cell, half a pack of RadAway, it's midnight, and I'm wearing a 50 year old Vault 13 jumpsuit. | Yeh I always thought your Dad Liam Neeson was a great character. I liked his character, as you could justify hating him by him leaving you in the vault and liking him by him trying to save the wasteland.

| Dr. Mobius. He is one of the most well written characters in all of NV imo. I think he's the one character I've never killed. At first he seems like the antagonist but when you meet him you realize he's just like a slightly senile old grandpa.
I was also very fond of Tycho from Fallout 1. Even though his character was never really fleshed out I just really liked his concept. |

| I know it's a bit of a Faux Pas to mention FO4 in a good light around here but I really think Nick Valentine was a well thought out, well voice acted character with a very interesting story and background, I really enjoyed having him with me, which is a first out of all of Bethesda's "forced" player followers. Usually I get sick of them within a few minutes and send them away, but I held into Nick long enough to do his quest, and that was pretty damn good as well, if I may say so. Well apart from the end where - Spoiler:
it turns out that the criminal he was hunting was still alive, leading to the most cliché conclusion possible, I really was hoping for a more nuanced finish to that quest tbh...
Apart from that wee bit, I think Nick may not be the character I'm most fond of, but he's definitely up there |

| Yeah I'd have to say Colonel Hsu because he was aware of the disadvantage he was in over Camp McCarran, and still tried his best. |

| While not being a living character in the Fallout series, the character Randall Dean Clarke that's depicted in journal entries throughout the Zion Canyon is easily one of my favorite characters of all time. Learning his story about his regrets and how he managed to survive for so long after the bombs fells was an emotional roller coaster for me. He was an awesome character and helped people ever so quietly with what remained of his life and tried to make right on what he had done wrong or felt he had done wrong. He tried to make up for his regrets and make sure people had a fighting chance in the new world created by the bombs _________________ This is War, Survival is Your Responsibility. |
