| So I want to start on my Deathclaw mod idea, but here's the problem, I cannot for the life of me get the GECK to load certain cells. I've tried loading it using the powerup launcher, still no result. It'll load certain cells (like Searchlight or Yangtze), but it just will not load the majority of cells (Goodsprings, for example). I know it's temperamental at the best of times, but this seems to be a bit extreme. I've heard ENB can cause this - is there any way to disable an ENB just for the purposes of Geck editing? Similarly I know mods have said to be an issue, but whenever I edit I only load up FalloutNV.esm? |

| 1) "Pull up search and type in GeckCustom.ini and find bUsemultibounds=1 and change the 1 to to a 0" That worked for me in the past. GeckCustom.ini is at: http://prntscr.com/eu1k6f
2) Also I heard loose files from mods in your directory can cause issues in Geck. I use Mod Organizer so I can't have that issue.
3) If you heard enb is the issue I'd just remove it. Doesn't take more than a minute. Just got to the enb download, copy the files, paste, while they are highlighted press delete(of course not the data folder lol). |

| @"EmiliaTan" I uninstalled ENB, and changed that value in the ini, and it's still crashing on 90% of cells. How would I check if I have loose files in my directory? EDIT: I tried using a large address enabler and still no luck Interior cells will work fine, though. Using NVSE GECK made no difference. i am so sad i want to make my deathclaw baby ---- Update: so I got it to work absolutely fine on my LAPTOP, where I have a completely vanilla copy of NV. I'm at a miss as to what could be causing this. I'm not loading any plugin files. It must be something to do with memory, considering how it only seems to not want to load exterior cells. I have no idea. |
