| Anyone know what would be causing my frames to drop from 40+ to 12 fps when firing a weapon? _________________ - My Achievements:

| Nah its any weapon when fired in full auto I cant figure out if its texture sound or mesh related issue.
Edit: Ok some new information to add to this, the frame rate drop doesn't happen when I start a new game so now I'm even more confused either its impossible to play a full ttw play through or my saves are getting messed up somehow _________________ - My Achievements:

| Is your FONV PC version? If it is, I have the same problem when firing minigun.
I used it to clear out The Fort, then FPS started dropping. I can only assume it's about the quantity of enemies, more objects means your PC needs to process more meshes and textures. My case is firing minigun, since the fire rate is high, mesh and texture of muzzle flashes are more than other usual fully auto weapons when firing.
Just a guess, don't know if this is right or not. |

| The Problem seems to be connected to Archive Invalidation not working I have no idea how to get it to stay turned on. _________________ - My Achievements:

| Fallout Mod Manager has a setting to permanently toggle it on, click the Tools tab in the top bar. |

| Its better to use NMM because archiveinvalidation is simplest in it.If using NMM just go to tools and click archiveinvalidation it will get disabled, now again click over it to enable archiveinvalidation. This simple toggle for archiveinvalidation makes NMM my preferred mod manager. |

| I'm pretty sure it could have something to do with either your Sound driver or the shell casings and effects of the weapon muzzle flash, I've noticed when messing around in godmode just spraying and seeing the shell casings on the ground down my fps from 30-12 Try doing some research on FNV Sound driver conflicts. _________________ - My Achievements:
