| Just a random thought I have in my head. Seeing how the community here is lively as heck, I began wondering how you guys even discovered the series in the first place. I learned about it when I heard my friend banshee-screamed in the classroom because he got killed by a Deathclaw at Old Olney. |

| My dad had F1 and F2 on his work laptop, and one of the days he had to take me to work with him, he let me play. As with many things, he gave me media that was way out of my age comprehension. _________________ We have arrived, and it is now that we perform our charge. | I first heard about Fallout 3 from a friend when he started talking about a game set in an apocalyptic world - this piped my interest and I inquired about the game. He told me some details but not enough to spoil the game - he spoke about Vaults that kept people safe from a wasteland, a faction of soldiers that safe guarded relics of the past, mutated ghouls. After all that, I went and bought the game after school that day and I never regretted it. _________________ I seem to have lost a Penny. |

| I got Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel with GTA San Andreas for free with my PS2 in 2005. I played it for a while and got bored and eventually focused on GTA.
Now fast forward to 2012, I got my first PC and played lots of open world games. From Sleeping dogs to GTA IV and was googling top open world games and came across Fallout New Vegas so I decided to check out how Fallout grew and here I am. _________________ Everything by Star. |

| A friend introduced me to the series around 2007. The first one I played was 2, it's still my favorite even though I almost exclusively play NV. |

| I discovered it when I went to Gamestop years back and I thought Fallout looked interesting so I chose the game. Glad I did because it didn't disappoint me, and I've loved it ever since. _________________ "I am not existing, nor am I lifeless." |

| My step brother a few years back was playing some cool game (which later turned out to be fallout 3). And then about 2 years ago, my friend brought new vegas to mine and we played it on my xbox for hours. So I decided to get it. And now i have over 400 hours on the game. |

| My Hawaiian buddy in Vegas got me to play 3 and New Vegas while I was still in love with a lady named Mary Jane!. I liked the game itself, but was put off by the outdated graphics at the time. I gave Fallout 4 a chance and I liked it. I would play the other games, but meh. Not really up to it at this moment. _________________

| I found out about the series from my uncle. Was just bored out of my mind one day and asked him if he knew any game that is fun. And he asked if I had played Fallout 3 before. I said nope. Let's me borrow the game and fell in love with it. |

| I saw the E3 demo for Fallout 3 way back in 2008 I think and I was like "OMG WHAT IS THIS GAME I MUST PLAY IT" So I bought FO3 on PS3. Rebought it on PC and got NV as well. |

| My Uncle, every time i went to visit him I was playing games on his PC like Quake, CS1.6, RedAlert(the first one, best one remember sending armies of hundreds attack dogs), Might and magic games, and of course fallout games 1,2 and tactics, I remember when he showed me the first two and I was like meh, then when I actually played them then I was like I dont want to go yet just one more hour hahaha, lots of good memories I use to watch him play a lot too i loved to watch him play resident evil and silent hill games even tho I was scared shitless never played those until i was 16, and every time he wanted me to stop playing games on his PC he said he will turn Oddworld and I was out, for some reason I was really scared of the main character Abe now I find if funny, and ever since then I was playing Fallout games completed every single one at least 5 times still play them still love them same for red alert, might and magic and Quake not so much new CS but I do visit from time to time and play some CS 1.6 and Source. |

| Like a few, my brother introduced me to the series, but not on purpose. He was playing in his room one day, and while he went to the bathroom I sneaked in and blew up Megaton, having no idea what I was doing. He never found out, I am sure he just loaded an old save hahah. But this was my first time and from that I bought it for myself, then New Vegas, then 1 and 2, and then finally 4. Played through all now, to some extent. |
