| I thought Rogue One came together really well. Some of the recycled 1977 scenes and CGI meshed and bridged a large part of that 19 year gap. Awaiting SW8 now! _________________ |

@erictuong Vader is in like 2 scenes, but both of those scenes are very epic, especially the final scene with him. IMO Vader's last scene in that film is one of the most epic scenes in all of Star Wars. _________________ |

| The first 20 - 30 minutes felt a little dull, and way too much like The Force Awakens, like they forgot what era the film was in. After that though it was amazing, and that Darth Vader scene at the end was remarkable, shows strength rarely portrayed by him in the movies. _________________ |

| I loved rogue one whatever small complaints I might have aren't even worth mentioning with how much of improvement it is over episode 7. Blows me away some people actually think force awakens is better than the prequel trilogy...but thats getting off topic.
I loved Vader's scene in rogue one he really felt like the monster the ending of episode III should have left him, and I couldn't agree more @"erictuong". A movie of Vader maybe hunting down Jedi between 3 and 4 or something like that would be awesome. |

| Honestly i thought it was amazing and it proved that Disney can make these films without making them too child friendly, namely because we see several cases of the rebels having to do some pretty scummy things for the rebellion, and namely that ending (I wont spoil it) was...unexpected to say the least.
I am one with the force, the force is with me. |

| I always seem to be the only one who didn't care for it very much. I don't think there was anything egregiously bad about it, but it was just a very long movie for characters I don't care about, for a story I already know the ending to. There were also some really bad cliches in there that involve spoilers so I won't mention them. |

| Though I loved Rogue One, it leaves me wanting a movie in the prime of the empire, and I mean the PRIME sometimes in the middle of their first 20 years in power, the "Dark Times" era when the 501st were at Vader's side and there were rebelling clones. _________________ |

| I feel that rouge one was one a amazing movie, and had pretty dope action scenes, I had chills down my spine when Vader appeared on screen and crushed those rebels in 30 seconds flat |

| **NON-SPOILER REVIEW** I liked it! My favorite in the series honestly. The whole story was good, had good pacing, the characters were likable, and we see how this can connect to the rest of the Star Wars universe. If you wanna see it, I recommend it! **SPOILER REVIEW** It was really damn good, but also tragic. I honestly didn't expect literally ever main character to die in the film. But...in a strange way...it worked. Keep in mind, they say "Many rebels died to bring us this information" in a New Hope. Well, this shows it. This shows what happened to all those rebels that fought to bring the downfall to the Death Star. Jin was surprisingly likable. She's quiet, but you can see why. She certainly has been through alot and really was on her own for years. Another highlight is honestly...I'm glad the majority of the film went without lightsabers and Jedi. Okay, you can say the blind guy(can't remember his name at the moment) is possibly a former Jedi or at least Jedi based guardian. But otherwise, it was all about the rebels which I wish we saw more of. They didn't have the force or lightsabers to fall back on. They just had their blasters and tactics. And of course, Vader showing up was quite the bonus especially at the end. Though...if I had to nitpick...I wasn't a big fan of his costume. The gloves were different and didn't fit in my opinion, and the came was covering too much of his body. Vader usually has his cape on the edges of his shoulders. This one practically had it covering most of his body. Also, I love James Earl Jones's voice, but something about this round didn't seem the same. Surprisingly I think he added too much emotion to the voice this time around. All in all, great film. Like I said before, I highly recommend it! |

| Rogue One in my opinion is literally one of the best in this new era after Disney bought over Star Wars, the cinematography of the final battle was just superb and perfect. From the dogfight in space to the battle on the planet surface. The portrayal of the tyranny of the Galactic Empire was shown really well, especially the Death Star scene. Plus at how deep the Rebel Alliance would go in order to learn secrets and then silence their contacts. It's exciting to watch a Star Wars film focused on the side of 'normal' people instead of force-wielding Jedi or Sith.
I rate the show an overall 9/10.
Fun Fact: The main characters are supposed to survive the battle entirely in the original version of the film. If you re-watch the old trailers, you will realize that some clips used are not seen in the actual film. The one in particular is a scene of Jyn sprinting across the battle ground on the surface with the plans tightly grasp in her hand towards a rebel shuttle. _________________ I seem to have lost a Penny. |

| It's a good movie overall, I liked the characters a lot, but it got depressing towards the end. I would give it a 9/10. _________________ |

| Rogue One is my favorite Star Wars movie because it was a more serious Star Wars movie and more focused on the more ordinary soldiers and the battles, and because the last act was amazing. _________________ |
