So a couple days ago I reinstalled Fallout New Vegas, no mods, just plain vanilla.
Since I've been having troubles with getting certain ENBs to work ad mods I decided to again reinstall the game, hoping it would help me figure out the issue with my ENB (which is currently Oxide ENB). Well when I tried to boot up the game it would run fine, all the way up to loading ANY save file , which would where it would crash. No warning, no mods installed besides the ENB previously mentioned,
I don't get it, I have everything back to vanilla (almost) NMM has not detected any mods in my game at C:\Program Files\Nexus Mod Manager.
The only thing I would think it is, is my NVidia driver not resetting the settings? I don't have any clue.

So are these preexisting saves from your previous installation or just vanilla saves?

Have you changed the ini for the enb and/or turned off steam overlay? That can sometimes work.

Have you also made sure to delete the Fallout 3/NV folder from your files before deleting local content on steam?

And also, are you using a clean save or a pre-existing one?

This was happening to me a little while ago but I later found out that by rolling back my gtx 960 card to an earlier update (think it was 368.81?) it fixed the crashes. Since them I've updated to the GTX 980 and had no problems as of late

Ah, thank you, I seemed to fix the issue this way!

Also I was using NVAC with an ENB and NVSE, so that might've caused some issues.
