This has been annoying me since I got Fallout 4, has anyone been able to find the cause and fix it?

Hum, i have this problem, but i thought it was any of my mods, since, from what i remember, there were sounds for it. Now i can't know if it was Bethesda patches or if it never existed at all

I've always had no sound and I haven't installed any mods, I'm sure it can be fixed with the creation kit but I have no idea how

I've been trying to find a solution to your problem. Seems like it's not a unique issue at all, the internet is full of this bug. I can only recommend to use the Fallout 4 Unofficial Patch if you don't have it yet. I didn't play Fallout 4 (so I didn't try this mod myself), but these unofficial patches worked great with earlier Bethesda games.

Well, i must say, i am using the Unofficial Patch for a long time now, and the problem is there. Now that it seens to be a real problem, i'll take a look in FO4Edit. If i find anything, i'll come back here

Uhn well, sorry, no clue. There is no reload sound visible to edit in FO4Edit, in any weapons. But i am almost certain that it was playing the sound a while back... maybe 3 mounths, i really can't say. Beth must have messed with the sound in an older patch - this or i am crazy

*Sigh. I'm unable to find a solution to this bug. Sorry man, I've been trying my best. I have a suggestion though. If I were you, I would try to install a mod, which replaces all the vanilla weapon sounds, or at least the revolver sounds. Maybe it adds a reload sound to 3rd person view. Maybe not...

Sure, no problem. I wish I could help more. Your idea would be the best. A mod using vanilla revolvers with custom sounds. I'd recommend to start a topic about it at "mod requests" section too. It might reach more people.
