| While playing Fallout 4 I've made a few terrible errors in judgement which has caused considerable harm, and even death, to my character. Upon realizing my mistake I actually facepalmed myself. There are two major blunders which stick out in my mind the most. First one was when I was fighting the Gunner Commander on a bridge. He had power armor, I didn't since I wanted to take him on without it. As we were slinging rounds back and forth I was running side to side to keep from getting hit, jumping over the center divider in the process. Whelp, I wasn't paying much attention and mistook the side railing for the center railing. It was an "Oh s**t!" moment. I gotta hand it to him, though. That landing was superb even though he died. Second was when I took out a Behemoth. I was all excited and ran into the compound to collect the rewards. Once I exited the inventory screen there was the definite sound of not one but two Deathclaws coming up on me fast. One grabbed me and took a chunk out and the other one swiped me good. There went 1/2 my health. As I was running away screaming like a little kid lo and behold there is a third Deathclaw right in front of me. At that point I said to hell with it and started blasting away. Didn't do me any good. They gnawed on me like a Sunday all you can eat buffet. Thankfully I save before taking on any enemy. Turned around and beat feet to come back when I was much better equipped. _________________ i7 4790k @ 4Ghz, 4.4 Turbo Asus Z97-AR Custom Liquid Cooling Patriot 16 GB (4 x 8 GB) 2133 @ 11-11-11-27 eVGA GTX Titan X @ Stock Samsung EVO 1 TB SSD - O/S Samsung EVO 1 TB SSD - Storage Seasonic X-1250 Power Supply Thermaltake Core X9 Chassis Samsung UD590 3840 x 2160 Windows 7 Ultimate x64

| I didnt make multiple saves and by the time I figured out I had a game breaking bug where my pipboy was non existent I screwed myself. I definitely tried everything to save the file and progress but in the end nothing worked and I had to start all over. I for sure learned my lesson from that. _________________ story of my life |

| I was on the upper floor of a building, when a Deathclaw burst in from the lower levels... I thought 'ha, I have a Fatman, this'll be cake!'
And so I equipped it, aimed down and fired, only to hit the handrail of the floor I was on.. meaning the bomb exploded directly in my character's face, which shattered her power armor and killed her instantly. >.< |

| I was exploring an unknown area when i met an alpha deathclaw. First thought was hide hide hide. When i thought that ive gotten away i managed to bump into another deathclaw. At this point i just ran as they were now both chasing me. My choice of direction was poor though as i encounter no less than 4!!! more deathclaws. So there i am running with 6 deathclaws at my back and to topp it of i ran into an approcing behemoth (which actually had killed a deathclaw by itself) So yea.... i have not returned there yet This is no joke, no console commands, the location was almost down by the glowing sea at the far left corner of the map _________________ If you have some questions regarding one of my screens fell free to send me a message |

| Bit of a spoiler, but it pertains to Swans Pond. - Swans Pond Spoiler:
For some reason, Swan never popped out of the pond for me, at-least when I originally went there, I got a tip-off that I could get a awesome power fist weapon from the pond so I hurried back there... It was not until I was LITERALLY right in the middle of the pond that Swan EXPLODED right in front of me and sent me to a watery grave.

| Was clearing out the exterior of the Gunners Plaza and came around the corner to shoot a female gunner and I go into VATS and notice she has a launcher and then belatedly realize it's Fatman and a Nuke is already flying towards me and couldn't get away! |

| My worst blunder probably had to be travelling with Codsworth at a very bad time, but I wanted the perk he gives you when you reach max like with him. Anyway I was doing a bit of exploring out on that peninsula up north of Boston, I forgot the name of the place, but there's like a manor house there with a bunch of feral ghouls outside of it, kinda reminds me of the mansion from Resident Evil 1. Anyway that's not where the blunder takes place at since I didn't go inside, thought it might be an area with a quest at it later or something.
Anyway just past that area is a chapel. There were no enemies around so I decided to go and explore it and well...a mirelurk queen popped up to say hi to me, and as it happened I wasn't wearing my power armor and had Codsworth with me...yeah, looks like the start of a bad day doesn't it? Well kinda, see just south of the chapel was a two story house I had cleared a couple of hostile scavengers out of so I made a mad dash for it thinking "Safety!" cause you know when it comes it big enemies like death claws and such if they can't fit through the door they turn stupid and you can kill them easily. However I soon learned the Mirelurk Queen was smarter than your average oversized dumb dumb. It did infact stand there, but it also shot acid at me through the windows and doorway.
Anywho I ended up shooting at it from the second story (which put at about eye level with this thing), and having to turn around and pull out my pistol to pop the little baby ones as they would come in, and of course Codsworth was no real help and anyway yeah about 20mins later, I claimed victory. Yes 20 minutes of moving to the window and taking a few quick shots, having jump back to avoid the acid and then turn around to shoot the little buggers. In all honesty I barely survived that fight, and you better believe I saved straight after it was over.
So the lesson here is if a place looks empty and appears to have no enemies, don't go waltzing up to it all casual like, instead approach with caution, or you may get more than you bargained for. |

| MY biggest blunder was in the Glowing Sea. I was trying to move something, and held down the key a bit too long. Wound up exiting my power armor.. While i was trying to get back in (and avoid a certain death by radiation poisoning) I got ambushed by two deathclaws... (ouch) _________________ - KCCO

| I perfectly executed a tactical assault on a super mutant compound, utilizing a sniper rifle, armor piercing SMG, and a Laser Rifle. Except, I had forgotten to take care of a suicide mutant. He didn't kill me - the car he sent flying did. - Devil's Shadow Quest Spoilers:
Oh, I also decided to visit the museum of witchcraft at level 10. I found it interesting, and me, being the ultimate badass, didn't care for the bands of raiders, high levelled creatures from the depths of hell, or the random scorpion that sprouted form the ground just to say 'Hey y'all 'bout ta' lose half yo' stimpaks.' The only thing is, I just ran from each encounter. Piper valiantly volunteered to distract the abominations while I booked it. She bravely fought off bloodbugs, scorpions, and a military death robots while I ran like hell. Upon reaching the museum, I received that Devil quest, and being the superstitious person I am, I entered the museum without a second thought. What's the worst that could happen?
Yup, turns out there was a devil literally stomping around on the floor above. Piper was freaked out, I was freaked out, it was not good. I also should mention I have like, a single 160 round magazine for my armor piercing SMG, and 3 laser rifle shots left. Period. So we go up, and I look around, intrigued. The creature grows closer. We finally get upstairs when a giant ass savage deathclaw corners me. I only went in to grab the military fatigues and army helmet like a tactical gear who--er, head. This is when I dodge the deathclaw's first attacks like a boss. Suddenly, it takes interest in Piper. Seeing the opportunity as he starts going after her, I booked it through a hole in the wall (running right past his tail), down the stairs, and just as fast as I had entered, I was out the door.
Was it wrong sacrificing Piper like that? Probably. But I got my army shjt, so it's worth it.
- Swan's Pool Spoiler:
So here I am, a little low leveled 'Frank Castle' wandering around the Boston city streets with not a care in the world. I just got my combat shotgun all tacticool'd out, and a few more guns with a new set of combat armor. I felt so badass, like a new kid with new sneakers. This wasn't my part of town but like a honey badger, I ain't givin' no scheissa 'bout it. So finally, I decide to break my new fancy operator digs out for a spin, and run in to fight some raiders. Got a load of caps off of them, and alot of adhesive and ceramic. I needed it so badly. I figured I should save, but I didn't. So I move along, capped a few mutants for funsies too. And out of the corner of my eye, I see a little pond. It's got a brahmin in the middle, and it's friendly. I wander in, and see a little trunk - OH BOY, LOOT!!
I stuff my pockets like I stuff my face with tamales on Thanksgiving. Adhesive, ceramic, nuclear material, ammo, caps, stimpaks. All there for my taking. I stuff my pockets, reload my shotgun, and am off smiling. Except, Piper pulls her gun out. The ground starts shaking. I turn around, looking at what was once a peaceful, happy, drowning mutant cow turn into a pissed off swamp nightmare born of the darkest depths of mutant kind. Like a little girl, I scream, turn heel, and sprint off, leaving Piper once again to heroically shield my escape. I think back to the Devil's Shadow incident - she can hold him off long enough for me to escape! So I run and I run around, but I'm lost. The exits are blocked. I don't have long. I turn back and start running, right before a familiar face is catapulted right in front of me.
Piper failed, but Swan was nowhere in sight. I kept running. I had to check if he was still there, so I turned around, and I don't see him. Perfect. I broke out on a sprint again and was almost cleared of the wretched place. I take one last turn at the last minute, to pop off a molotov. He was all the way back there! Victory!
Except no. It wasn't a victory. In my crowning moment of bravado, I failed to take notice of a hunk of concrete spiraling towards me. When I realized what had happened, it was too late. My character had been struck by a flying chunk of Boston's own wondrous concrete trails, and had glitched and rocketed his own lifeless corpse high into the Boston skyline.
When I woke up, or reloaded my save rather, I was in Diamond City. And I lacked all of the cool goodies I had swiped up earlier. Lesson here: Don't trust innocent wasteland cows who appear to have drowned in a pool of radioactive sludge. And don't trust Piper to hold them off once they've revealed their true form.
I'm not sure why Piper tolerates me. |

| my most idiotic blunder included an exploding super mutant i cant remember the name of the hospital but their is usually 3 mutants outside one suicider and 2 high level mutants i decided to try silenced weapons and thought it'd be easier to just shoot the bomb in the suicider's hand and as soon as i did i remembered i left my power armor at home and the explosion sent me in all directions and the worst part is i forgot to save in the 4 hours i was exploring lol |

| i was walking to a satellite array place to kill some raiders for the first settlement i think, and saw a mole rat. well i wasn't going to waste my ammo on a weak ass naked rat, so i ran at it with my machete. i targeted it in vats and attacked, and i realized it had some kind of vest on. then i saw the mines on it, and i died. unfortunately i didn't save since i left the farm and i had to walk all the way back to that damn array _________________ |

The Captain gives you specific orders how to power up the Sub, well... I really wasent listening so when I put the power supply in before the dampening coil, the Sub exploded. But right before that the Chinese Captain called me a big fool, lol.

| Alright I got a new one, now before I get to it let me just say that at this point in my game I'm now level 50 armored up in heavy combat armor with one hell of a weapon load out including a fully upgraded Gauss Rifle with plenty of ammunition. So what does that have to do with the blunder? Everything, because when your that armed and awesome it tends to result in one thing, and we'll get to that in a moment.
Now onto the blunder, see I had heard of this place called Atom Cats Garage, in order to obtain a little something I'd heard about. Anyway to get there I crossed a small park place crawling with puny mirelurk hunters and kings, which foolishly believed they stood a chance against my great and awesome awesomeness but my mighty gauss rifle reminded them that they were no match. Anyway, the garage was coming into sight but something caught my eye to my left, it was some military crates and a Legendary Colonel Gutsy. So I thought to myself, "I'ma kill that puny robot and take his stuff." Which I did and he never stood a chance, cause gauss rifle. So after that I ran up and looted him...but I forgot one very important thing. When legendary robots of any kind die, they always go boom like sentry bots do. And so it was that the great and powerful me was defeated by the same thing that had been the bane of many a badass before me, complacency. |
