| Would anyone here agree that while the Deathclaws in Fallout 4 are brilliantly done, there doesn't seem to be any Deathclaw-ridden areas in the game? I think the most I ever had to deal with at once were two near the pyramid building (forgot it's name) located in the Glowing Sea.
Just imagine areas like Deathclaw Sanctuary and Old Olney in FO3, or Quarry Junction and Xander Bay in FNV, only with FO4's Deathclaws. That'd be terrifying, and fun.
Even if there's some reason for their scarcity in the lore, or having to do with the story I overlooked or missed, it wouldn't make sense. Their clearly the Alpha Predator in The Commonwealth, and are more dangerous than any of the previous iterations. They should be a lot more of a nuisance to the Commonweath's inhabitants.
What do you think? Am I just nitpicking, or missing something? _________________ "Something old, something new. Something borrowed, something blue." My Mods: - Spoiler:

| Have you been to Natick, northeast pf the glowing sea? Seems like that place has 2 or 3 guaranteed Deathclaw spawns. As for there being something like Deathclaw Sanctuary, or Quarry Junction, I think it's the deathclaws' new movement system that prevents a whole bunch of them from working together in one place. They're a lot more agile, performing ducks and weaves, not something that would look right in a crowd. That, and I think Bethesda wanted them to be more like fearsome loners than pack hunters. _________________ "They asked me how well I understood theoretical physics. | I don't know. I personally don't think it would be weird. I would love to fight hordes of those things. A challenging but rewarding experience.
For that, I'll have to wait for dlc, or, most likely, have to wait for tools to be released. _________________ "Something old, something new. Something borrowed, something blue." My Mods: - Spoiler:

| I think the problem with bigger fights is that they can lift you up and then you're unable to do something. This normally happens not that often, but with big hordes it's a struggle I suppose :/ _________________ Nuka Cola. Nuka Cola never changes. |

| For the fact that bumping into death claws at a low level wrecks you fast is how you would expect it to be. Even the detail in the deathclaws is awesome and giving it different makes it more unique. The problem i have though is you bump into them way to much. I got to high levels and would randomly bump into a death claw whether it was legendary or not. I was no longer intimidated when i got to certain levels. They just became a nuisance. |

| I've been attacked by three in the Glowing Sea, an albino and two 'glowing' ones. Even in power armor they made short work of me... I don't know that I'd want to deal with more than that. |

| They look both badass and scary as fuck.
There is a location that's riddled with Deathclaws and it reminded me of Quarry Junction (if I'm not mistaken for my memory fails me atm) it's also a dig site that features a mother with her infants.
I thought shooting the infants to lessen the crowd was a good idea.
SHE DID NOT AGREE WITH ME.
The idea that some deathclaws in FO4 can be invisible is scary alone, yet haven't encountered one. They also seem to be smart enough to dodge my mines.... had that happen like a lot.
The fact that flying Deathclaws are real too.. NIGHTMARE FUEL. Yet this mod takes the cake though, combining the worst of the monsters in NV into 1 being: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/58606/? |

| I kinda wish they were tougher, one should be more than enough to wreck you even at a high level. Once you get to a high enough level they aren't really a threat. I'm sure there's a mod for that though. |

| Survival Mode... 3 mininukes and it is still coming...
Deathclaws really make me consider if I want to fight them. The Amount of ammo I have to expend, possible stimpacks and to include damage to power armor and where can I go to repair the power armor....
The New Deathclaws and their agile movement and doges really makes a huge difference where before they charged you and were just extremely durable... now they are that and fast dodgers.

| Deathclaws are now kind of underwhelming especially since they roar to start off combat and start running on all fours after you instead of lunging with their claws when you get close enough. I love the new aesthetics for them but they show off and pay for it with several missiles to the face. _________________ |

| I think the Deathclaws in the games feel really dumbed down but it maybe because of the new shooting mechanic like at the start of the game it makes you feel badass for killing a deathclaw and thats cool but I like that scene to go down with maybe not a mini gun but instead use the weapons you just got. That will make the player feel not that invincible and I do agree the Deathclaws look more menacing and will make you really shit your pants if you didn't bring your highest damage gun. |

| I have to say that I was able to beat a lvl 50 Deathclaw by nuking the fuck out it with a Grenade Launcher, missiles yet mini nukes would've been faster lol.
And I was only around lvl 24. |

| survival makes deathclaws a threat, but I don't enjoy using it. Then you have raiders soaking up bullets like they're nothing, which kills immersion. I want deathclaws to be near invincible but I don't want my raiders to get the same treatment. Skyrim had the same problem with dragons and bandits. Balancing difficulty with believability is really hard. |

| I think that they should have an area to themselves, or maybe a contested one with Mutants or somethings for some extra spice _________________ |

| What would really be cool to see if they had a tackle to the ground animation and attack. Wish they had that along with holding you up. Run at you on all fours and tackle you and tear the shit out of you. |

| The Deathclaws in FO4 were modeled and animated very well however their implementation in the game doesn't quite give their name justice. It would be nice to see them attacking in packs more often (similar to New Vegas) instead of facing off with a single one of these beasts. Wielding power armour and a heavy weapon with enough ammo shrugs of a single Deathclaw effortlessly. Encountering them in packs is very rare yet hectic simply because of how relentless and deadly they are. Even having more Deathclaw encounters around the smaller settlements would at the very least make the backwater parts of the Commonwealth more of a gamble between risk and reward.
The Deathclaws were beautifully made but underwhelmingly implemented. I expected more from a beast with the word death in its name. _________________ |

| The deathclaws in FO4 are more dangerous than in other Fallout games because of their gameplays improvements. So they deserve to have place to live for them only like Old Olney. |
