| One thing that confused me abut 4 is the absence of the series common enemy, the common ant. I can understand the absence of centaurs but why no ants? |

| That is a good notice, why there are no ants? Hack, why there are no more centaurs either instead they been replaced by these hounds? However, the more important thing is, why there are still no MUTATED SPIDERS? |

| @"geminispark262" Well the reason their are no centours is due to the super mutants in 4 being created by the institute. Centours are only created when the super mutants have access to fev because is when the just toss in a bucnh of people into vats iof the stuff or an arieal substance of the fev. The institute sees no reason to make centours because they have no known intelligence and are simply abonimations on the level of a feral ghoul. They may have tried to create a centour in the past but it didn't work. It seems though that mutant hound still retain a pack and bond to their super mutant kin though. |

| I honestly....love F4s choice of less bug, having RED Ants in a place like the commonwealth i think wouldn't make sense, i have phobia against bugs like these, but seeing an ANT raised from the grounds of the commonwealth would be most unfitting, Mojave was a good setting for Ants, but Commonwealth just seems perfect to only have Rad Scorps, Rad Roach and Blood Fly whatever you call them. i think those bugs are menacing enough on closer distances, imagine Spiders and all that. man if that was the case, i would NOT play Fallout 4 ever. so i think Bethesda did great on this one, just my toughts. |

Personally I would like to see they add more varieties of bugs in Fallout 4, especially spiders. However, arachnophobia is very common for some people and we should respect that. |

| Im glad they got rid of the ants.
First time entering Grayditch wasn't pleasant for me......
But im pretty sure once the GECK comes they will make some horrifying ant for a mod that includes other horrifying stuff _________________ |

| Those little buggers always got in the way. Get it, buggers=bug. Worst joke of 2016. I always thought they were annoying bastards with their fire characteristics of dragon breathing. I'm actually glad they are gone because they just ruined my life, tho it would be a good addition since they're aren't a lot of creatures in Fallout 4. I can't wait for the GECK. _________________ Love DJ Khaled, Always. The DJ Khaled Documentary

| I'm glad they kept away from having too many bugs. Giant bugs is kind of a uninspired enemy design. I rather they did more weird mutated stuff like the centaurs or something completely new! |

| Guys, guys we each have our opinions here. i have terrible experience with Spiders in Real Life, so i am always looking for a way to get rid of Spiders, and Gemini is right, we should respect each Point of View this is why i always put "my thoughts" "my opinion" so that people know it's my minor point of view, i also have terrible business with Red Ants in real life, so i hated them, but that's just me. you guys like Spiders i don't, i am just here expressing my opinion, that's all. can you please not go all "racism and his spider"? i tried so hard not to sound like a douche.
thanks |

| You know arachnophobia? Yeah, well....that's me with the ants. Ants scare me like crazy and I don't know why. Spiders? No problem. Scorpions? Peace of cake. Bloatflies? Ugly creatures, but I can handle them. However Ants is too much for me....especially with their creaking legs. *Shivers* I'm glad to be rid of them. You should have saw me in FO3 when I entered Grayditch for the first time. I was stuck in crouch and inching along very slowly. And when an Ant appeared I either went the other way or if it was too close I would load a previous save. |

| I'm not too bothered about the disappearance of ants, I just wish instead of removing them entirely they could have made a new irradiated critter to put in their place! Echoing @"zirr0m" , giant bugs are kind of cliche, they should have made something similar to a centaur to replace them. Messed up creatures that were originally human are much scarier! |

| No ants doesn't mean "less bugs" the stupidly fast bloatflies and the skinny, over-powered mosquitos (blood-bugs) are hell to encounter. I've found the stingwings to be far easier. But there you have it, off the bat, 3 flying insects. We could've settled for just one, you know? and we still have the radscorpions. I don't understand how there are so many scorpions all across america, especially in Washington and Boston. I wasn't aware the D.C. and Massachussets areas are, in real life, filled with scorpions, but not with ants Completely throws me off, to be honest. I miss the ants too. I think they could've made ants that walk on walls with the new engine. Maybe we'll soon see a mod or even DLC that adds ants, or replaces those goddamn bloodbugs with them.
Edit: I've fixed the topic's title. It used to say "Abesence of ants" I'm sure it was just a mistype |

| Although I miss the encounters that I had with the mutated ants as well as their fiery brethren, I really miss the mutated centaurs from earlier entries. It was always interesting to watch them fight alongside the super mutants and crawling around. I wish that they were included in the game. _________________ |

| I want Ants and spiders in the Commonwealth aswell.
Not to mention, Butterflies would be scary as fuck. Imagine something beautiful like that, mutated to hell. Nto to mention, butterflies have some of the most gross face in the insects kingdom, a giant mutated one would even look uglier.
Jumping spiders would be a very good addition to the game, because of their jumping-hunting behavior. It would make them unique, in terms of combat tactics. _________________ Only the Dead have seen the end of War |

| In the next DLC we might have squids and Feral Bears . Saw some things here and there. So expect some underwater creatures .But unfortunately no ants or some kind of a beetle .I dunno insects are the most resilient and they can adapt really quick so its kinda oke to include them .I saw something about arachnophobia butt dont worry ,just grab a giant swater and enhance it on the weapons workbench +9000% damage to creepy crawly . |
