what do you think about a snowy place in fallout 4 or to be like a weather system cuz that would be really cool

@FoVet20 I agree. That would be a really interesting system to put into place. Imagine you managing your inventory and you accidentally drop your favorite gun in the snow and have to search for a half hour to find it in the rapidly accumulating piles.

Snow in Fallout 4 would be awesome! I don't remember there being snow in any Fallout game, not including Jacobstown in Fallout: New Vegas.

Firefights in blizzards would be cool to see, and would make great screenshots as well!

I think theres a texture replacer already that makes everything coated in snow, although i would like to see a specified area for this, maybe a mod or dlc? Theres some really good snow mods for fallout nv, just checkout Fallout frontier, should be released next month

Yeah snow in fallout would be cool especially with christmas coming up I think it would be cool to have in the game!

Now i don't hate Fallout 4, i still like it but i can't get into it since it just bores me, but enough of that, lets talk about snow.

I think that this feature would be amazing, just imagine your waking the Wasteland and the BOS calls you on your Pipboy says something like,

Attention to all BOS member, a snow storm is coming, find shelter in a any nearby building or wear special protection equipment and or find a place where it is warm, best of luck to you my fellow brothers. wrote:

Actually a dynamic season mod could be better. And diffrent features for each season(like the one @"VeteranAlpha96" tought about it) would make it more challenging and funny. Also it would improve farming experience.

Well after running around Boston the other night, listening to Christmas songs. I could imagine myself dashing through the snow.

And Diamond City gets Christmas decoration when it reaches the date so it sure would fit.

Though a random occurrence would be better than permanent.

Personally i hate snow in video games. It takes the visuals of grass away i like so much. I even have mods for skyrim that remove the snow and replace it with lush, fresh grass.

But snow in the Glowing Sea is a nice idea. The area is so big and new stuff to explore there would be epic.

I would probably like a new location with tons of snow maybe even set it on Canada and fight mutated wolves and blizzards are common which would really amps up the experience

I'd love to see snow. It does snow a good bit in the "New England" area of America and it'd be nice to see snow in the Commonwealth...while I am snowed in due to snow in real life.

You can only apply what a time as of right now, and there are some LOD issues when looking out in the distance, but it's still fun to mess around with, especially the snow version.

Honestly I think it would be a great concept to have snow in Fallout 4, the radiation storms could be deadlier by turning them into Nuclear Blizzards. Maybe future DLC will introduce us to new Snowy environments.

Snow doesn't feel right to me for fallout games. Just because of the fact that everything was ripped apart and in both fallout 3/new Vegas, they say it's a barren wasteland. Wouldn't be very barren if it can snow and grow plants. I feel it would lose that fallout 'dead wasteland' feel to it. That's just me though.

I don't like that idea it would really kill the atmosphere. It would be better for like videos but thats it

I wonder what a nuclear winter would look like. I have no idea. Sounds cool. Could be awful too. interesting thought.

There's still water. And rain. If it's cold enough, that rain turns into snow.

Up here where it snows, farming is really hard because of the cold. Snow in the wasteland would likely make it even harder to survive.
