Hi everyone, you probably won't remember who I am and that's ok because it really doesn't matter anyways. What does is that I've missed my home away from home, and I've come back the long way round. Alright, enough of that, I was apart of the GFX Specialists and towards the end of my run I was undertaking a beefy-ish task; It was to provide a general facelift or update to the site. While I did get to adding three backgrounds to the site, some new dividers, and a few banners. I started dropping the ball and eventually vanished like a wizard! or a ninja.., it was very abrupt and cold. I suck at managing my time, so a few bad choices after another my downfalls caught up to me. Anyway, I like to follow through with jobs given to me, one of the few useful things I picked up while away, and have come back to not only finish the task but to be back where so many good memories took place.

Now just a note before you move on; This is not me just coming back in and taking up the GFX Specialist mantle and acting like nothing happened. I had my reasons for leaving, albeit pretty bullshitty for the people that knew, but I don't think it'd be right if I wasn't reprimanded. I've been away too long and it'd be fantastic to meet all the new users and learn about all the changes and additions to the community. Plus it was fun working up the ranks, round 2 here we go. All I have is a sentiment and some designs. Lets get to it.

GUNetwork:

Oh yes, that cute 'wittle ribbon up there and that emblem. It's a logo proposal for GUNetwork. I thought this'd be great, gives off a military vibe and it's got all the letters hidden away in there. Have a look at this for a better understanding. I was thinking of the N64 logo a lot. Try to think of the logo/emblem as a 3D Object, It helps if you're still rattling your brain to see anything. Again, up to.. well not sure how things still go around here... but I have my waffles on the Overseers + the GFX Specialists. I'll leave a poll though for everyone to see how they like it, dislike it, or despise it...

Yeah, excuse the shite quality, everywhere is compressing the larger images to heck and back. Anyways, here I threw a quick mockup together with a few elements so you could see how they looked before having to put each piece into place. Below I show what exactly I've added/changed. The only thing not shown is the ICO for the site.

Lastly here are a few Who's Online?, did two versions of each and the ones with BG match the color of the site so no random borders.









Color alterations and such are easy, especially since I've linked a folder with most of these in PSD form, plus the fonts needed for changing the text. The new tiling pattern is in there too! Pack download.

I know this is quite abrupt, and possibly even in the wrong section, yet I have to end the thread saying I'm truly giddy with happiness. I wrote 1/3 of this with true happiness.. and the rest with half open eyes. It's 3:32AM on the Pacific Coast and I really wanted to get back into the swing of things so I made the jump and put everything together. Have a beautiful rest of your day or night,
