Unfortunately you will not be able to run most graphic intensive games as they require a dedicated video card and not one integrated in the motherboard

In addition, the specific model you listed is one where the motherboard and all of the computing parts are built into the monitor leaving zero room for upgrading anything past maybe an extra stick of ram.

@FoVet20: it's your GPU that's destroying your frames.

@FoVet20: I'm rocking an i7 too. I barely hit 25% of my CPU. Just for fun, I declocked my CPU to 2 Ghz, and it still ran smoothly. My GPU, on the other hand, is pretty much 70-90%. VRAM usage isn't that bad: only 2GB or so. For reference, I'm using a i7-6700k and GX970.

@FoVet20: Your i7 shouldn't be the bottleneck. Sure, it's only 2 cores, but the hyperthreading should help a bit. There's not much you could do about the GPU: it's just frankly not a very good one.

Invest in a desktop. I too was once part of the laptop world. It costs more but it is really worth it. I used to play on low settings with my bootcamped imac. Now I have an i7 with gtx 970 an amazing ssd with 24gb of ram. Trust me save save save if you can. If I were you I would save for ps4 and just play console for a while. Then just save your money while you play console I did that for a couple months and it is amazing having a good pc. I also fried my dv7 pavilion over a course of a year while playing intense graphic games. I never have to look up tweaking options, rarely have to compromise at lowering graphic details, never have to worry about if I can run a constant 60fps at 1080p. Save for a pc locust its amazing. Also pc's are upgrade able. Sure my 970 is good but there could be a game I really want to play that demands a better graphics card. Upgrading a gpu is the easiest thing, you literally just pull it out put in the new one. If you buy a gaming laptop locust you will be stuck with it never being able to upgrade it. (Unless you buy some really insane external graphics card laptop). For a gaming laptop I'd recommend doing what fovet is doing and looking at a 980m laptop. Might aswell get a really good laptop gpu that you are going to be stuck with for a while rather than settling for an 860m that you will regret buying later.
