| The commonwealth was definitely the better map for me. The desert was nice but after watching a lot of post nuclear movies before fo4 release. Having a setting in a apocalyptic city rather than a desert is more immersive for me.

- Here is what happened. After I beat fallout nv there was still a ton to do there were a lot of unique quests. I probably put in 100 hours after a week during release. Fallout 4 I did every unique quest and made every settlement at its peak. Now all I have to do is radiant quests. The thing is, with fallout 4 I felt like I put barely any time in it, after a week of playing all there was to do is radiant quests. I have combed the commonwealth for some fresh stuff, have not found any. With new Vegas I still find new stuff once a week at least. Things I have never found quests I have not done. I just feel like compared to new Vegas fallout 4 was small in terms of how much there was. I know this question was a what environment you like best but I needed to express my thoughts. I know mods will resurrect fallout 4 for me in the future but for now its just sitting on my desk and I have no intention of playing it again soon. Fallout 4 was a good game everything was high quality (story, game play, etc.) I just completed it fast and now all there is to do is radiant quests. I never had that problem with a Bethesda game ever. I hope obsidian can make another fallout, I like all the options and content they put in NV and hope they can do it for another one. Â Â
I think he is referring to the setting and surroundings , not the gameplay, quests and game design |

| The Commonwealth of course My favorite fallout is NV but i can't deny the truth, The Commonwealth was way immersive than NV's Mojave. Urban areas to explore Raiders ambush you when you try to scavenge in a building Wastelanders settling on an old pre-war building/settlement. Raiders burying their friend. Mojave Desert was an empty, ruthless place. where wastelanders think they have a high chance of survival/surviving if they reach a settlement nearby. the Commonwealth was a crowded, ruthless, unforgiving place. where wastelanders know that they have a small chance of survival/surviving even if they reach a settlement nearby/stay in a settlement nearby. they know the raiders would come raid the settlement for him they think that Synths are spying on them they think that the Institute would abduct them while they were resting. The Commonwealth felt more dangerous than the Mojave.

| This is a harder question to answer than I thought. I no undoubtedly loved the Capital Wasteland and Commonwealth at first way more than the Mojave at first. But the Mojave grew on me to the point that I now love it just as much. The Commonwealth is great, but I think the Capital Wasteland had a bigger sense of awe and curiosity that the Commonwealth didn't have as much. That was probably more because I know D.C. more and also 3 was my first Fallout.
They're all great, but I'm really excited for Tales of THREE Wastelands. That's gonna be so great being able to roam all 3 with the new mechanics. _________________ |

| I prefer The Commonwealth. The Mojave felt to...safe for a lack of better words. In The Capital Wasteland(The first Wasteland I ever explored) EVERYTHING was terrible. Lack of clean water, Super Mutants all over, The Enclave came to cause problems and all the other issues settlements had. The Mojave, despite being in a massive war between the NCR and Legion felt more safe. They had a pretty good supply of clean water(Granted the Dam did provide it) While there were plenty of raiders, they were really only encountered in a few areas more north by Vault 3. The Commonwealth has plenty of issues. The Institute, radiation storms, Gunners, the lack of a bigger faction dealing with raiders, and a plethora of mutated animals. I like the Commonwealth's hostilities and many dangerous aspects because it feels like a proper wasteland. Just my two cents. _________________ Fajita Ferret here! |

| I prefer the Commonwealth beacause the Commonwealt is more apocalyptic than the Mojave Desert. That's my personnal opinion for sure.

| OK Fallout New Vegas is still probably the best of "Modern" Fallout's. But we I must say that the Mojave became a big pain to explore after even first playthrough. It gave me one or two laughs can't deny this and there were quite nice locations no doubt about this. Commonwealth just was... More fun ? There is more urban area's that are quite nice and definitely are my thing, there was little bit of diversity as there are more things... than well sand (And less than enough of green). There is some shore are (That was disappointment same as the ocean). Also Commonwealth urban ares gave me more fun gameplay as in Mojave everything was easy as all hell (Fallout needs bigger dose of fun kind of difficult) And the best I could do is to go full nonsense kind of hard with DUST that is just same kind of bullcrap as FO4 survival is But yeah If you ask me Commonwealth won this one for me Can't wait to see if next Fallout will step up a notch with the location of it also hoping to see Obsidian do next Fallout maybe they can patch up the story ? (Spoiler:They can) _________________ I do not consent

| Even with with House protecting the Mojave it felt more post apocalyptic than fallout 4's commonwealth. |

| I personally loved the Mojave over the commonwealth because of its locations and all the locations around New Vegas. |

| Gosh that is a tough one to answer. I love the mojave because of the areas are wide open and you can tell whats gonna be ahead miles away lol desert. The commonwealth has a lot more clutter together with enemies around a bunch of corners and also hidden gems to be found so close together. The mojave felt so much better to go through the adventure of finally finding New Vegas. Where as finding diamond city was so disappointing because there wasn't really anything to it and it sucked. I would say the mojave but, screw cazadors.......seriously screw cazadors. _________________ |
