I live roughly an hour away from Boston. I've recently been thinking it would be fun to go there in costume, blare "Atom Bomb Baby", and film myself joggin down the street doing various "Fallout" things. My friend is into directing and I hope to someday get into acting. If this would work out, it may help both of our goals.

Anyways, I would like to know how I can make a simple costume replica of the vault suit. I'm broke so I can't go order one so I have to make one. Anyone here good at making costumes and would be able to give some tips?

Not sure if this is in the right section. It IS Fallout related, but it's not exactly about the games themselves. I also hope nobody did this yet...

Well I mean... the materials you need to make one and the tools would probably cost you more than buying one, right?

Easiest solution is basically buying an overall itself. I'm planning to make one (with help) later this year as well)

I have the tools needed like a sewing machine and stuff, but I'm just in need of advice/directions on good ways to do it. I've never made a costume before and I don't really know what I'm doing.

I'm not experienced with that myself and have my mom to help me out.

I'd say if you want to be simple, get a blue jumpsuit and put yellow tape in the appropriate areas.

On a side note, if you go to Boston and do crazy Fallout stuff, can you film it? That'd be pretty funny to see how people reacted.
