| So what are your specs and what is your FPS at 1080p.
I am running an i5 580GTX and 8GB, running Skyrim with a performance friendly ENB and I would say 80% 2k Textures and Unique Grass Mod, I get a good 20-25FPS outdoors and 30+ Indoors.
My Google-fu tells me that a 580GTX should be able to run vanilla F4 at a constant 60fps on med-high settings.
But when the mods roll out, I don't know how much the 580GTX can handle, been wanting to buy the 980ti for a while now but wanted to see how everyone was doing so far.

| I got 60-61 FPS at UltraHigh settings. Though recently, I went into the .ini files and increased Ugrids to 11 (which makes the outdoor areas vastly better looking) and it occasionally dips to 53-57 now. But hey, I'll take that over seeing a visibly crappier version of the game world just a hundred or so feet away. |

| I actually average between 30 - 60fps... while I have a beastly GTX 970, my CPU which is an AMD Phenom II 1045T x6 Core, well.... bottlenecks it, so I get rather finicky frames. Generally when combat is going on I'm at a solid 50 frames, with interiors always at 60+.
...It's weird, but I think for a game like Fallout 4, a 980ti is overkill, though a little added insurance couldn't hurt... so long as you can afford the price of admission. A 970 will perform admirably with an optimal rig.. an i7 or an 8350 AMD-based CPU depending on your mobo will do wonders.
(Just gotta bide my time until I can upgrade both... :S) _________________ |

| Well my system is above the recommended specs when I'm in the wilderness it's 60fps but when I'm deep in the city with all the big towers it goes down to 42 to 35 for me and the game only uses 2.2gb VRAM on ultra and my gpu has 3.5gb of usable _________________ - My Achievements:

| I get steady 60 the times I've had the tracker on. However occasionally I get these random game freezes that last like half a minute and then it unfreezes. It's really weird. |

| I have recommended specs, 290x, and a 4690 cpu. I'm at 1440p, had to lower shadow distance to medium, shadows to high, god rays off, multiple tweaks to the ini's and still not consistent fps. 60 outside, and 40-45 in big cities. Sometimes it drops to 28ish for idk what reason. I'm guessing the resolution is partly to blame, but still really annoying. Also get microstutter that I can't figure how to fix without the fps getting tied to the game's physics. Pretty frustrating sometimes. @Evmeister tracker? _________________ |

| I have a 680 at factory settings, it runs 30fps mostly but at random times I get these weird lag spikes and also dips my frames to 20. _________________ story of my life |

| I usually get 55-60fps whenever i'm out and about outside of the big cities. But I have major spikes when I enter them. And I know i'm not alone on this. It really ticked me off at first, but I just got used it later on.
It could be that I have a bottleneck CPU. Going to try to save up to buy one next week.

| For anyone with an AMD card, they released their new drivers for yesterday. The game plays great now. _________________ |

Thanks for the heads up, I'll come back and mention if I'm able to play with decent fps, or if not. I can only hope. |

| @Swooya What card do you have? The drivers made a HUGE difference for me tho. I'm at 1440p too. If you're at 1080 on a decent card you'll get 60 most of the time on ultra I'm sure. I had to turn off god rays, set shadow quality to high, shadow distance to medium, and anisotropic filtering down to 12x though to get the 60fps. It still drops to 40-45 in diamond city, but the rest of the time it'ls locked at 60 and feels great. _________________ |

| It's not the fanciest of cards though, I wasn't expecting a good performance regardless, even if there were no official issues with AMD, but I'm yet to see what happens after these updated drivers.
AMD Mobility Radeon 5800 Series. I'm not an expert with these types of things, although knowing a thing or two, but I believe it has 2 cards? Given it has Crossfire and that if it's off there's a notable loss in performance.
The ini workarounds (performance mods) that popped up on the nexus helped ease the fps strain but it either came with consequences such as flashing shadows or not helping to the point of it being playable. |

| EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Classified, Intel i7-4820k 3.70GHz, 16GB RAM. All settings on Ultra, max draw distance on everything. Game's a solid 60 until you're near or within downtown Boston, where looking in certain directions causes the game to crap its pants. |

| I am getting lots of replies, but not everyone has posted their specs.
Also I think resolution is important here.
My Google-fu has shown the same, that FPS dips here and there.
Perhaps when the GECK and F4SE is released, we will get some sort of memory patch and reliable info on ini tweaks to help us configure our game. |

| Rig in sig. I play at 4k UHD (3840 x 2160). These are the current settings I use which give me mid 40s to solid 60 fps depending upon the area I'm in. nichoice, yes, resolution is very important. When members do not post the resolution they play the game at we are left without a necessary detail to gauge possible performance or troubleshoot issues they may have. History being as it is, there are some titles which perform worse at lower resolutions than at higher resolutions, depending upon hardware configuration and for which graphics manufacture the game is optimized for. _________________ i7 4790k @ 4Ghz, 4.4 Turbo Asus Z97-AR Custom Liquid Cooling Patriot 16 GB (4 x 8 GB) 2133 @ 11-11-11-27 eVGA GTX Titan X @ Stock Samsung EVO 1 TB SSD - O/S Samsung EVO 1 TB SSD - Storage Seasonic X-1250 Power Supply Thermaltake Core X9 Chassis Samsung UD590 3840 x 2160 Windows 7 Ultimate x64
