| With the recent release of the requirements for the PC version of Fallout 4, I was wondering if my machine could handle at 1080p, High-Ultra settings, 45+ FPS?
Specs: AMD FX-6300 @ 3.5 Gigahertz 2GB Sapphire Radeon R9 270X Dual-X Boost OC 8GB (2x4GB) Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600MHz DDR3 1TB Seagate Barracuda 3.5" SATA III
And also, only 24 days! |

| Should be able to run, probably not maxed out at 60FPS though. |

| Givin' the recommended/min specs you should but like hollowtips18 said on medium/low. Although the rec/min specs seem to be inflated a lot for F4 so it could be higher. |

| I would say with your specs probably mostly on medium at least at 1920x1080 you may have to lower a few things since you only have 2gb of vram. I would if you can upgrade to at least 16gb of ram since the game is x64bit to give yourself more room to work with. But yeah you will be more than fine with your current specs. It will run smoothly but some things you will have to set to low due to your gpus vram limit.
Minimum Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required) Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent 8 GB RAM 30 GB free HDD space NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent
Recommended Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required) Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz/AMD FX-9590 4.7 GHz or equivalent 8 GB RAM 30 GB free HDD space NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 290X 4GB or equivalent _________________ AAA Environment Artist & Modeler, US Army Combat Vet, Full Sail University Alumni |

| Subject: Fallout 4: Ultra at a lower resolution? Wed Nov 04, 2015 1:38 am | |
| So, a couple of weeks back I asked if i could play Fallout 4 at Ultra settings, 1080p. I have a FX-6300 processor at 3.5 gigahertz and a Sapphire Radeon R9 270x OC. I have now accepted the fact i probably wont play Fallout 4 at 60 fps at Ultra 1080p, but what if I lowered the resolution to 1280 X 720p? Could i possibly play at a more decent frame rate? Thanks! Also the hype train!

| Subject: Can i run Fallout 4 on Medium? Sun Nov 08, 2015 9:05 pm | |
| So Fallout 4 is close to release and i was wondering if i can run the game at a stable 30fps on normal graphics setting. Keeping in mind i can run Witcher 3 with everything on medium at a stable 30 and can run Skyrim and Fallout 3 & NV on Ultra, Any help would be helpful as im quite anxious . Thanks in Advance Specs: Intel i3-4150 cpu Nvidia gtx 750 1GB 8GB ram 1Tb HDD EDIT:
Merged your post to this one as their are already multiple topics asking similar questions and we dont want to get swamped with a crap load of topics asking can i run this on medium setting lowest settings etc.

| Guys just look at the system requirement for Fallout 4 (both minimum and recommended) and compare. As long as the one you have (your graphics card, your cpu, your ram, etc) has a higher number(or value) or equal, than either minimum or recommended, you should be fine. (I think this can be applies most of the time, right?) The cpu bit though look at the <cpu name> GHz numbers, i.e: i5-2300 2.8 GHz (taken from Fallout 4 minimum system requirement), if you have the exact 2.8 or higher(this should always be a decimal #), then your cpu is set. So i.e: Or of course you could try canyourunit website (type that in google). Asking on what settings could you play on is quite too early right now when the game's not even released. So no matter what anyone tells you it's all speculations, unless you got a really really overkill rig (or a really underpowered rig) that is. |

| I could probably run it with 30-40 fps. So I'm guessing if your not running on a laptop, you'll have around 30-40 fps aswell, but just not on Ultra settings. |

| Is there anyone who did the VPN thing (not endorsing that by the way, patience is a virtue) that can tell me about what settings and fps they are getting with a gtx 980? _________________ |

I got millions of answers low-med,high,cant even get 5 fps can someone tell me the right one ? Your GPU should be fine. Your CPU is kind of decent. You could probs run high fairly well, if not ultra with some drops. I'm not the best at this, but I'm running an i7 @3.6ghz and a 4GB GPU on max settings, so... yeah |

| Check it on Game Debate, all you need to do is enter your CPU, GFX Card, the amount of Ram and the resolution you want to play at, it will then show up what settings you can play on.

| Reportin' in My rig: Windows 10 64bit i7 3770 3.4GHz PNY NVIDIA GTX 760 (no oc) 2GBs VRAM 12GBs RAM
Running Fallout 4 on High with AA on highest and other post processing effects at 30. Drop a little bit in densely populated areas but playable, haven't updated to the newest NVIDIA patch customized for Fallout 4 either (hopefully performance improves with the NVIDIA patch later today when I get home).
So... pretty good? |

| Yeah I'll chime in too, like I said before, I've got:
i5-3570K @stock gtx 970 oc'ed by about 150 mhz Running FO4 off of an SSD
Getting solid 60 fps on Ultra preset at 1080p, no drops, and 50-60 at 1440p if I turn the godrays and shadows down a little bit, overall very satisfied with the performance. Especially since if you turn up the res and downscale, I can turn off AA.
Definitely turn the godrays to low though, no visual difference for a pretty nice performance gain. _________________ |

| Updated to Fallout 4 game ready drivers from NVIDIA, turned God Rays to low and turned AA from TBAA to FXAA, I now get 40~60fps. Most of the time it's 50-60 until I get into areas with really a really dense amount of objects. I'm expecting for the performance improvement in future patches though. |
