The Dragon & The Butterfly Poem:
In War,
There is chaos,
It breaths fire and terror
In the utmost depths of the human soul
In Peace,
There is beauty
Tragic and frail upon the moonlight of night
It is small and innocent, bringing comfort to the soul.
The Dragon flies high to the heavens
For it didn't look back
But it looked forward unto the dawn.
The Butterfly roams the landscape in search of life.
But instead only founded death and destruction.
One day, in the den of the Dragon, it came to greet the monster.
At first, the dragon was hostile, spewing it's breath unto thee. The Butterfly not afraid of such terror, went forward to comfort thee.
Chaos and peace, terror and beauty.
The Butterfly and the Dragon.
Polar opposites
Like night and day.
Dawn and dusk.
Instead of leaving the Dragon be
It landed upon it's nose
Swerving and twirling the mighty beast did, trying to make it leave
Only for it to realize
Not only does tragedy and frailty rest in the human soul
But it can reside in the soul of a mighty beast.
