Hello my name is William Lionheart, i'm a 23 year old (almost 24) guy who lives in the hole (being polite here) called Belgium in the city of Antwerp.
I've been basically at the computer since age 6 and have played myself many amounts of games.
Personally to say I'm a die-hard pc gamer and fan.
I'm mostly into Fantasy games and RPG's, yet I do often love to play myself an old fashioned shooter.
My favorite genres are:
- RPG's
- Horror Games
- Sometimes Adventure games
- Scifi Games
- Fantasy Games
I played Half Life atleast over 40 times (that is with vanilla and modded versions), I used to play a lot of Team Fortress 2, I've played Oblivion many times (will restart eventually), I've put a huge amount (softly expressed) hours in Skyrim, I've played and roleplayed in Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, The Specialists (HL1 mod) and Gmod. I'm currently playing both The Witcher 3 and FNV
I have been an Elderscrolls fan since officially Oblivion, i've played Morrowind but not THAT much I hardly remember.
Only a few years ago I've become a fan of the Fallout Franchise, I always considered TES superior but that's just me and it has changed.
I was in my post apocalyptic mood once again, I've played S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl and wanted to play more.
I saw Fallout 3 and honestly it wasn't really to my liking the first time I saw it, especially the ending I saw to it that you're basically supposed to get. Was watching my cousin in Norway play it.
I watched the F3 trailer and sure enough I was sold, I managed to get my hands on the game played it for awhile and it was crash paradise. (pretty much my own fault but yeah) so that didn't last long.
After that I got a hold off New Vegas; played it and I absolutely loved it, especially with the Western vibe.
And to be honest I've played Skyrim but when I saw the F4 annoucement on Bethesda's E3 show I knew F4 is superior.
To me F4 curb stomps Skyrim into the ground. I love Skyrim but hell yeah, I can't wait to play F4.
I pre-ordered the collector's edition instantly, I got no girlfriend in my life atm to spend my money on so. Gaming all the way :V
My greatest enjoyment in gaming and that's why I'm a pc gamer at heart is: Modding.
For every game I own, I always look for mods:
- To Improve the game
- To add new things to the game
- Fix some errors
Just to make the game the way I want it to be.
You can say it's an obsession, but it's what I just love to do.
Even though my computer doesn't always agree with my methods hence the F3 crashfest.
I was barely able to run vanilla Skyrim on my computer, yet I modded the crap out of it anyway.
I played Oblivion as Sephiroth, The Lich King and finished it as a Dread Knight. (took me many a years to finally go and finish the main quest)
Same goes for Skyrim though, I got so many hours in Skyrim and I only finished the main quest like a year ago?
Currently I've modded my FNV to turn it into Tale of two Wastelands, I've beaten F3 and pretty much every DLC besides The Pitt (is apparently broken as hell in vanilla F3 as well) and currently am wandering the Nevada desert with my companion Willow again.
Just finished the Dead Money quest line after a long time, mostly because of companions screwing up from DM and Willow >_>.
Not to mention every time I reload I have to wait more than a minute which is annoying as hell.
I've been into a couple of mod project's, mostly as beta tester, yet sadly they all tended to die on me >_<
I've even managed to climb up to Mod development leader for a Bleach mod for JKA, I tried keeping it alive so many times, tried putting it back on rails sadly to no avail.
Never really gotten into making mods or skins myself, eventhough I tried reskinning before and changing things to maps for JKA.
As for how I came to this website and forum?
Well mod hunting got me here, I've been on the nexus many times and sadly it doesn't always offer all the mods I want.
I've been a fan of Dragbody's work on the nexus and when I came across mod images of his on DeviantArt, I saw great things.
Can't remember exactly sure on what mod image, but I found some posts that eventually linked me to this site and here I am.
I saw the Daryl Dixon race mod and absolutely loved it already.
Hope it's clear enough about me and my gaming history, if not my apologies, I'm mostly a forum lurker instead of a poster.
I also hope I don't leave a bad impression, I'm bad at these things.
This is the biggest introduction post I ever wrote :p
