Oh boy! There's a few fannon one's that I just adore. - Die Ogmentende (Cathar Cannibals) - Rattle Squad (Veterans, think Badass, Gran Torino)
Other than that, - I'm a fan of any of the Mandalorian clans / time periods. - Cathar are an interesting culture, (spent a long time lookin' into them as part of an RP build. ) - Trandoshan Culture has always been my favorite. Almost entirely revolving around their status as Hunters.
Hmmm, can't think of many more that really strike at my fancy.

my favourite factions are:
- the mandalorian clans: because their culture was based on the idea that war and the battle were a source of honor and pride in their community.
- the sith empire: because in the old republic times he taught his true power to the republic conquering almost half the galaxy

While not exactly cannon anymore, the Imperial Remnant.
-Compared to every other imperial faction, including the recent film, Pellaeon was the most respectable leader.
Plus when you have a ship like this, it makes you wonder if they were stronger as a remnant or as an empire:

I like the Mandalorians, there really good at fighting, there armor looks awesome, and my favorite character is Mandalorian (Boba Fett). Delta Squad comes in at a close second with the Republic and Empire be a close 3rd.
