First time I played through the game when I used to play it on console, I joined Yes Man first, then House, then NCR, but it took me a few years before I finally made myself join the Legion since I couldn't stand them. I also wanted to get the Legion achievements out of the way, so there was really my reason for joining them. lol

Out of all of the factions, I prefer House. Yes Man creeps me out, and the NCR...is...meh...at least they aren't as bad as the Legion.

I always go with the Legion, I have mods that make them wear paramilitary outfits and carry ak-47s

The first few times I played through, I did all the factions to see their endings, but I went in the order Legion - House - Yes Man - NCR.
I did Legion first because NCR are a bunch of self-righteous assholes convinced they're the stars in the action film that is their life...

Brotherhood is the faction I usually go with. But for the main storyline of the Hoover Dam I go with an Independent Vegas

Ncr - Vegas face no protection and heavy taxes though I think this will change after a while.
Mr. House - Vegas becomes a communism with a dictator.
Legion - Slavery, torture, pretty much setting Vegas back decades.
Yes Man - Toss up, Vegas can become a democracy, a communism, or a complete dictatorship.
