| So I got to thinking and thought "Would General Grievous be a sith" He doesn't really have the force but lots of people I know call him a sith. So I geuss my question is can he really be considered a sith?
Thanks in advance! _________________ |

| General Grievous is more a cyborg trained in all light saber combat forms to insure the jedi's destruction then a sith.
Quoted from a different site. General Grievous will always be General Grievous, the cyborg Kaleesh warlord. He's not Syfo-Dyas, he's not Darth Maul, and he certainly isn't Jango Fett. |

| I would have to agree with myuhinny. He doesnt seem to be employed and trained to be a sith, mainly for certain destruction of jedi. Which is probably why he takes pride in his lightsaber combat with his four arms and his trophies of other jedi. It's to bad that the mini clone wars cartoon portrayed grevious as a bigger badass than his portrayal on the big screen . Ever since I saw that mini series I couldnt wait to see what he would be like in the film, but nothing carried over except for the cough caused by mace windu force crushing his chest. _________________ |

| General Grievous lacks the ability to effectively wield the force, which is required to be a sith, he does not adhere to the sith doctrine and knows little about how to use the dark side, so no he is not a Sith, merely a cyborg general who is trained in lightsaber combat.
Here's a quote from the wiki "The Sith Order was a sect of Force-sensitives who utilized the dark side of the Force" And the wiki article http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sith _________________ "Sheogorath is already inside each of us. You have already lost." |

| Would be rather cool if he could use the force though. Would make for a crazy foe having to deal with his lightsaber combat AND force use. _________________ |

| All I know is that he can't use the Force since he's a droid, and he has no red lightsaber xP _________________ |

| hmm... think the grievous be a sith because , the sith as created one cyborg more pontetial , or one site called grievous is death and the sith has got take the brain and created the cyborg general grievous _________________ "I will fight until my enemies without giving up before his eyes; nothing and no one can stop me because they are the great Prince of sayan. | I don't think so. Grievous is just a cyborg who can handle lightsabers, that's all. And like you said, he got no Force. |

| Imo, anyone can wield saber or train in it. But you are born with the force to guide toward Jedi or Sith. I think to be one have to have the force, you can wield a stun baton and still be a sith/jedi if u have force imo. _________________ |

| I'd say he could have been the Jedi and Sith are essentially a philosophical take. The biggest difference comes in the force. To say you need the force to be a Jedi or Sith isnt true. Think back to KOTOR the original Sith were simply forces used by force users who also happened to call themselves Sith. |

| Unfortunately General grievous was never a sith he was just a lackey Sidious had already made plans to kill after the war was over. Also after darth bane sith followed only the rule of two and grievous was never a part of that rule having no teacher nor apprentice. Non to covet nor to hold. |

| Technically he's a droid so I'd say no he isn't? Just a toaster with an attitude problem _________________ "Fear is the true opiate of combat." |

| What gunsmoke said, mr helicopter hands was too far into cyberware to be attuned to the Force. Granted he was a pretty damn good sword fighter but even that was attributed to his mechanical body rather than his old life of a warrior. |

| Grievous is not a Sith. He's just a tool the Sith use so they don't have to get their hands dirty. Palpatine and Dooku consider themselves classy that way |
