It's a PC port. Don't expect everything to run smoothly. If the game crashes constantly, run verify cache (if you have the steam version) and/or run the game in admin and if possible run the game in windowed mode and clock the game to see how long does it take to crash.
Again it's a PC port so regardless of what PC you are playing on it may or may not have that crash consistency
