I was wondering what weapons people hate from the base game.

Mine are - Minigun, grenade machine gun, and recharger weapons.

Recharger rifle, definitely the recharger rifle.

I know right that thing is such a waste of space.

Vanilla energy weapons... Just find them all meh so much so I always end up using small arms

Don't forget the pistol...I mean, who thought it'll be a good idea to make like the worst gun ever?! Just look at the stats it takes seven seconds till that thing reloads completly! Even though the pistol is not such a disaster like the recharger rifle, it remains a complete waste of space.
Like all the other vanilla energy weapons how vandenburger already said.

I hate all laser and plasma guns.(their retro funny style).I prefer old good firearms.

All energy weapons for me their all pretty useless and look terrible to.

I always use mods to take as many energy weapons as I can out of the game, lol so I hate them all. As for small guns I think that the 9mm weapons and 357 revolver are terrible, I also use mods to make it so that all guns are potentially lethal, because it makes no sense to shoot somebody 20 times and is immersion breaking for me.

I HATED the chinese pistol.

It was COMPLETELY USELESS in FO3. Whenever you leave the vault you already have the 10mm, so there's no point in taking a gun that does less damage and has worse accuracy.

I like mechanic based weapons so I gravitate to things like Spider Mines and Euclid C-Finder, unfortunately there isn't many weapons like that. In conclusion all other weapons are useless for me, unless I like the way it looks, everything else can be fixed/buffed in geck.

The Recharger Pistol had potential, but the fact that every time you switch to it, it has 1/20 made it a really awkward weapon to use, since you can't reload it and it basically empties itself on it's own.

Plus NPC's can't use it, I would have given it to a companion so I don't have to share the ammo because I have ammo scarcity due to mods, and guess what, you can't.

If they were fixed then they could be potentially really good weapons for players who use those kind of mods.

Figaro the unique straight razor, was something you would use to scratch your arse with I tried to stab someone with it, and it literally tickled them... then I got shot in the face... I rate 10/10

Archimedes Laser my first play trough i did the quest to position the solar panels at HELIOS One before i got the Archimedes so i coudnt use it and one i did another play through and had it working i never used it

Sadly personally for me it's Ranger Sequoia. Yeah i know how can "monster of the west" be a worst gun in Fallout? Even if we forget about it being hard to obtain, hard to maintain, hard to supply with ammunition required, hard to aim, heavy and having way too many engravements, it simply doesn't live to it's name. I found it out the hard way when i tried to act like a hero and shoot a regular deathclaw with this weapon (deathclaw ran me over after taking two shots in a face). I couldn't even kill a radscorpion with this gun without reloading it! No "one shot one kill" feel to it. Well unless you're using VATS...

I really hate plasma weapons. They pack a punch, but their accuracy is just god awful.

Energy weapons in general. They always felt so slow and cumbersome compared to the likes of the assault carbine or the .44 magnum.

Hmm i find all big guns kinda useless really, i get more done with a handgun then i do a fatman.

For a single weapon I'd say... the Chinese pistol, at least the .32 looks kinda cool as well as being useless, the Mauser doesn't even have that. haha

I'm not a huge fan of the default energy weapons myself.  They just don't have that satisfying sense of impact like physical ballistics.

worst weapon in my opinion or branch of weapons were energy weapons i loved using them in the original games as a kid but in fallout 3/NV i just ignore them and don't even bother to pick them up to sell lol
