| :hellobig: Hello everyone!
I've started playing new vegas again since now i got a new rig, problem is my new rig, despite having better configurations, have been causing fps loss whenever i fire with a very quick weapon( like the minigun from this mod http://www.nexusmods...as/mods/38762/? ) or when i am fighting more than 8 npcs, now i know my computer should be able to run fallout without any problem because my old one was worst and it did. Nevertless i tought the problem was nothing until i installed an ENB and my fps droped from 40 to a steady 9-12. I already tried the d3d9.dll fiz for nvidia as well as trying to use the injector version, but then, like i said before, i realized the problem wasnt with the ENB but with my computer. Can someone help me to fix this?
My Notebook
64 bit system
Intel core I7-2630QM 2.00 GHz
6 GB of ram
Nvidia Geforce GT 550M
ty for the attention and have a good day |

| You said your computer is the problem but are you sure of this? Were you using an ENB with your old computer? If so which one? |

| Check your temperatures and make sure you aren't overheating as that is common with laptops (Under 75C in game is ideal). Also try disabling fix transparency bugs in ENB as that has caused me lag for some reason in the past. _________________ |

| I have a habit of using the Injector version if i'm on a notebook with very limited GPU power & the Wrapper version if i'm on my PC. Can you tell me exactly what files you copied from the binary folder and the files from the ENB you're currently using on your notebook? |

| i am using the injector version from the 278 enb, and the nevada skies version from this enb
http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49882/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fnewvegas%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D49882&pUp=1
One more thing, as i mentioned before the fps stutters even without enb, when i have more than 8 enemies or when i use the minigun fro AEvegas the game fps goes from 60 to 10

| I can tell you from personal experience that the Gatling Alice from that mod will cause horrible slowdowns on the majority of systems since the fire rate is so goddamn high. As for the ENB, have you done this exactly;
Copied enbinjector.ini, enbseries.dll & enb injector.exe from the INJECTOR folder in the Enbseries folder to the main FNV installation folder. Completely turned off ANY form of Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic filtering from BOTH the game launcher AND the Nvidia Control Panel. Copied all the files from Enhanced Shaders INSTALLATION folder to the main FNV folder. DO NOT USE THE 4GB ENABLER. Ran enb injector.exe BEFORE you launched Fallout New Vegas?. |

| @themaster96 The Alice is definitely the culprit there, I must have missed that in the original post, woops. You can cut the firerate and # of projectiles in half at least and it's still absurd. I'd recommend doing this yourself in the GECK or using this mod. edit: Another thing that most people overlook with these types of weapons is the muzzleflash, it's a huge burden on framerate. I don't think the Alice suffers from this problem specifically but the Gatling laser and other high fire-rate weapons do. Try a flash remover/reducer like this one here. 2: Not sure what the Rep downs are for , just trying to help! _________________ |

| @stalker_96 - can you explain why you've given 2 negative rep to FunkyWins ? Nothing he's posted in this topic deserved to be sanctioned that way. Also, you are supposed to explain every negative vote you give in the topic you give it. We have strict rules against rep abuse, and it looks like rep abuse right now. |

| @FunkyWins, that alice minigun fire rate is really screwed up, ain't it? Wonder why it wasn't adjusted in the first place? Does that fire rate actually work with beast PCs? |

From the reputation page it shows that he gived to me a negative vote (even though it's not showing) - Spoiler:

Yes i installed the enb correctly, however i didnt tweked anything in the INI files, does that influence on something? Also i activated 4gb for NMC textures, i didnt know it would make my fps worst i will try to disable it |

| @themaster96, just so happens that I'm also tweaking the Alice minigun as it does have a couple of bugs. I think just copying figures from a vanilla minigun would make it work. I use FNVEdit though but I think it does the same job as GECK. Anyway, here are my tweaks & changes:
Open FNVEdit, navigate to the follwing entries & change the figures: AEVegas.esp/esm > Weapon > Alice Grinder > DNAM > Animation Multiplier > 1 > Projectile Count > 1 > Projectile > MinigunTracerProjectile "Rifle Bullet" [PROJDE8] > Fire Rate > 20.000000 (or 18) > Attack Shots/Sec > 20.000000 (or 18)
Once done, close FNVEdit & only check AEVegas.esp before fully exiting. |

| @aerystmd Frames definitely still suffer with a 4970k/gtx770, I cut the fire rate in half and lowered the projectile count and that worked wonders. It still looks awesome. _________________ |
